• Managing the procurement department team to achieve the highest level of delivering quality services to achieve the client satisfaction.
• Implementing best procedures to enhance the procurement processes and outcomes.
• Dealing with any related to the ordering and subcontracting of materials, services and supplies.
• In-charge for all procurement activities related to MEP works for Industrial, commercial & residential projects as Sewage treatment pumping stations, district cooling plants, airports, hotels, malls, and residential tower (MEP).
• Preparing the CBT (Commercial Bid Tabulation) or Comparison sheet (CS), RFQ (Request for Quotation), LOI’s (Letter of Intents), LOA (Letter of Award), GSC (General Supply Contract), and S.C.A (Sub Contract Agreements).
• Procuring goods, services and materials in shortest time that meet the construction plans achieving the client goals.
• Finalizing the scopes within budgets & time frames.
• Maintaining good Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Coordinate with the Project Managers regarding design and specifications issues.
Studying Contract Documents, Project Specifications & Drawings.
Handling the procurement activities of HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting for domestic and overseas projects in regions like UAE, Oman, Algeria, Qatar & India.
Qualify and submitting pre-qualification along with all details related to bid.
Prepare the techno-commercial comparison sheets to insure that quotations/offers as provided by supplier/sub-contractor are within project's budget.
Conduct further techno-commercial negotiations with suppliers to pick short listed offers.
Arrange the technical submittals, compliance statement, samples & mock-up of equipment (Electromechanical) and materials.
Coordinate with engineering team to Prepare shop drawings.
Attending Technical and progress meetings with Main Contractor, Consultant and Client.
Preparing & releasing Purchase Orders, Sub-Contract Agreements & General Sub-Contracts to suppliers/sub-contractors taken into consideration the delivery & work progress batches are in line with MPS.
Coordination with Operation team, procurement expeditors and suppliers/sub-contractor in order to have timely delivery and to entertain any issues comes up in between.
Review and process suppliers/sub-contractors payments and variation orders.
Follow and manage technical approval/material submittal schedule, Weekly & monthly Cost to complete report, Budget uplifts, review of Budget utilization against budget & Monthly Procurement report to Management.
Coordinate the installation work of MEP services.
Prepare and verify RFIs for the clarification raised by project's team
Review the technical submittals of equipment and materials.
Review the CSD (Coordination services drawing) before submission to project's consultant and before site execution work.
Following up with consultant to get the approval on Drawings, technical Submittals & Inspection requests.
Attending Technical and progress meetings with main contractor, consultant and the client.
Raising inspection requests (IR’s, MIR’s ... etc.) to consultant.
Following up the testing & commissioning procedures & methods.
Studying Contract Documents, Project Specification & Drawings
Float enquiries for the suppliers of MEP Systems based on the Project/Client specs.
Prepare the techno-commercial comparison sheets to insure that offers as provided by supplier are within project's Budget.
Conduct further techno-commercial negotiations with suppliers to pick short listed offers.
Arrange the technical submittals of equipment and materials.
Prepare shop drawing for MEP services.
Attending Technical and progress meetings with main contractor, consultant and the client.
Releasing Purchase orders to suppliers taken care the delivery batches are in line with project's progress of work
Prepare for the agreements with subcontractors.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
