• Focus on selling Express, Domestic, Air/Land & Ocean product as primary responsibility with a view to expanding market share and boosting volume and revenue growth.
• Identify and solicit new clients and business opportunities from existing and prospective customers with the principle aim of increasing the company’s market share, revenue and profit by building a strong customer relationship with key decision makers.
• Retention of existing business through Contract Renewal and Cross/Up Selling; sustain Growth of business via New and Additional Sales. Lead, negotiate and finalize agreement on new services, pricing, service levels etc.
• Monitor customer performance, loyalty and satisfaction to measure success, business fluctuation and possible business at risk. Take appropriate corrective action by involving the internal stakeholders’ (management, operations & customer service team) to meet customer expectations.
• Establish customer agreements and ensure that pricing guidelines are always applied and profitability targets for customers are met. Ensure that customers’ prices are reviewed on regular basis and whenever any discrepancy arises between actual and promised volumes a re-negotiation takes place.
• Organize and hold strategic customer dialogues with decision makers to identify customer's business objectives, supply chain requirements & challenges (ensure business fit).
• Coordinate with the operations manager to set customers SLAs, KPIs, and process flows to complete the customer proposal in the best way for the customer & the company. Monitor implementation progress of resources and processes and advise team on potential road blocks & mitigation actions.
• Talent and knowledge development of customer service team members /account handlers. Build strong relationships with the internal customer and run periodic operations reviews. Support team members in day-to-day activities related to the product and its development.
• Align with accounts to run regular reconciliations with customers and settle all service and financial disputes.
• Deliver ongoing market analysis and assessment of competitors and market intelligence with a focus on the future and value creation.
• Participate in and support/coach critical sales activities of team. Lead team members to achieve set business revenue targets.
• Set SMART objectives for team members, identify member training needs to develop and motivate employees - in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
