Position: Material controller/Planning Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Working as team leader of Store & material division.
• Directs physical count and inspection of arrived material.
• Reviews purchase order receiving documentation (delivery notes) for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepares material receiving report and updates with material receipt data entry.
• Forwards the original delivery note with a copy of printed material receipt to Accounting for processing of invoices.
• Ensures documentation to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damage conditions of material received.
• Ensures accomplishment of physical inventories on a timely basis to ensure valid records are continuously maintained.
• Ensures security of equipment and supplies kept in storage areas by locking equipment as needed.
• Ensures safety rules and regulations are fully implemented.
• Disposes-off surplus project materials as approved by project management.
• Liaises with Main Store and Procurement personnel.
• Receipt, verification, storage and issuance of consumable and permanent material and equipment.
• Inventory management.
• Raise the purchase request for the required materials.
• Coordinate with the purchasing Department regarding required material.
• Coordinate with Quality control Dept for material inspection, acceptance, and rejection issues as per ASTM, BSEN, and other different material codes & Standards.
• Review the monthly production against material consumption and create analysis report.
