Roles and Responsibility:
IT supports (Multiple sites & Regions) maintain severs of different geolocations.
Works on Windows and VMware ESXi servers.
Administrator VMware ESX\vSphere infrastructure.
Maintains and monitoring servers information and updates.
Troubleshooting the incidents & problems reported on the servers
Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
Maintaining documentation for all issues based on severity and priority.
To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch Management, Server reboot, Etc.
Managing and maintaining database and servers information on service now tools.
Maintaining connectivity and uptime as per service level agreements.
VMware Technical Knowledge
• Installing, Configuring and T-shooting Vmware Vspher, Vmware Vcenter Server, Vmware iSCSI SAN, Backup & Restore with Vmware Data Recovery (VDR), Vmware Vspher Security, Moving Virtual Machines with VMotion, Moving Virtual Storage with SvMotion, Vmware advance features like DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler), Vmware HA (High Availability) Super High Availability with Fault Torrance, upgrading Vspher & Vcenter Server.
Virtual Server:Vmware server, ESXi/vSphere 5, Hyper-V.
Manage VMware vSphere Client datacenter and VM’s.
Implementation and configuration of vSphere ESXi 5.x and installation of VM and vCenter Server.
Good knowledge of VMware High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler, Fault Tolerance, VMware Consolidated Backup, Resource Pools .
Performed P2V and V2V conversions with VMware Converter
Working knowledge of Templates, Clones and Snapshots.
Hardware / Networking
Monitoring and troubleshooting of desktop system and network.
Installation and configuration of Windows desktop system.
Installation & Configuration of different Operating Systems.
Maintain and manage Local Area Network, switches and Routers.
Design, setup and configure switching.
