Project Details: This is the Refurbishment works at in patient’s ward in Aspetar Hospital main building (ward no 2 & 3 at 2nd& 3rd floor) behind the Khalifa Stadium, Qatar. We IB Trading & Contracting Co. are working as main contractor.The hospital is operational so, we have to take care HSE Rules & Requirements from every corners for achieving zero goal without incident/accident.
We IB Trading also worked on for the all stadium management during and before “Fifa World Cup, 2022” for its maintenance and management work.
Project Details: This is the oil and gas shutdown project located at Mesaieed with QAPCO (Qatar Petro Chemical Company - Qatar Petroleum ). Project name is QapcoTA.
Dec’2015-May 2021 RejoinRedco International W.L.L., Doha, Qatar as Sr. HSE Engineer (Department Head for 4Factories (Redco Precast Factory, UPC Precast Factory, Redco-Cicon Steel Factory, Al Mirqab Steel Factory at Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar)).
Key Result Areas:
• Organizing seminars and symposium for training the workforce
• Inspecting the environmental issues such as water pollution and solid waste management
• Providing permit to work system
• Preparing and issuing the HSE plan for project
• Developing plan for HSE requirement as per projects demands.
• Carrying out investigation of site issues, resolving client/consultant complaints and taking incident/ accident & advice corrective/ preventive actions
• Entrusted with the responsibility of:
o Analyzing the incidents &implementing the learnings
o Conducting HSE plan review meeting with project key staff & sub-contractors before starting the projects
o Training all the concerned about the requirement of the HSE plan
o Reviewing / monitoring the compliance status
o Promoting a positive safety culture throughout the range of projects
o Conducting safety committee meetings
o Identifying potential fire hazards & causes of fire & recommending appropriate actions
o Reviewing fire hazard analyses on site emergency mock drill
o Directing safety promotional activities, i.e. safety exhibitions, national safety day, safety cartoon display & competitions
o Ensuring maintenance of incident statistics
o Working regularly &advising the department on the measures to be taken ensure safety of the workers whether under the department
o Developing & executing programmes for the training of supervisory personnel in the application & observance of safety practices

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and objectives.
2. Safety Training and Education:
• Conduct safety orientation programs for new employees and contractors.
• Organize and facilitate safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices.
• Maintain records of employee safety training and certifications.
3. Safety Inspections and Audits:
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards.
• Prepare and distribute inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
4. Incident Investigation:
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences.
5. Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Monitor changes in regulations and adapt safety programs accordingly.
6. Safety Reporting:
• Prepare and submit safety reports to regulatory agencies as required.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and safety equipment maintenance.
7. Emergency Response Planning:
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and exercises.
8. Safety Equipment and PPE:
• Monitor and maintain safety equipment, machinery guards, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE by employees.
9. Safety Communication:
• Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Communicate safety policies, procedures, and updates to all employees.
10. Safety Committee Participation:
• Participate in safety committees or teams.
• Collaborate with employees and management to address safety concerns and initiatives.
