Responsibilities:
•Technical support for the DWDM and SDH projects.
•Coordinate with NOC and other stakeholders during troubleshooting and other day to day activities.
•Troubleshooting to trace the fault and restore the network, immediate response and dynamic performance for critical and outage trouble tickets to restore the network within the SLA.
•Full back up support to FOC teams for tracing of cut point and fault locations liaison with NOC to get the GPS coordinates and NE information required for link restoration.
•Experience on MDTs and ETCNs to close within the stipulated time period.
•Monthly task to complete the PMRs which include exchanges, MSANs, out/indoor nodes, customer premises and lot more, report preparation and submission to STC.
•Daily reporting, liaison with customer, STC, replaying emails, PPTs for weekly/monthly meetings.
•Experience in performing JVs with different customers including, Nokia, Ericson, NSN, for new services request and trouble shooting of problems on existing systems.
•Experience in performing PAT, thoroughly checking in all aspects, reporting service and non-service affecting OILs (if any) and follow-ups till the OILs have been removed, further, preparation of report and submitting to the management.
•Alarms monitoring, analysis and clearing the alarms of SDH/DWDM Network.
•Attending the Faults/ T.T, finding the reason, analysis, localization and rectification of fault with coordination of concerned departments and field staff.
•Work On Multi-vendor interface (LUCENT, SIEMENS, HUAWEI and CISCO DEVICES).
• Responsible for PAT as field inspection officer to sign the new installation or Expansions in Transmission.
•End to End fiber testing and power measurements at different wavelengths
•Equipment Detail Lucent: Operation & Maintenance Lambda Unite, ADMU. OLS80G and, PSS 1830.
•Huawei: Operation & maintenance of Huawei Optics 1500, 2500, 3500 .BWS-1600G and OSN 8800 (T32).
•Cisco: Operation & maintenance of Cisco device 2600, 2900, 3600, 3800 series.
•Handling of Tickets in RTTS.
•Handling of WFMS for worker order.
•Splicing the Fiber cable and identifying actual fault location(Fujikura 70s)
•In depth knowledge of optical fiber and it’s laying, testing and jointing
•OTDR Testing, Fiber Splicing, Multimeter and Optical power meter
•Finding the cable cut using OTDR, Source Meter, Power Meter and Visual Fault Locater.
•Troubleshooting in FTTH network using OTDR, Source Meter, Power Meter

•Installation & configuration of OLT (7360 ISAM FX-4).
• Network FTTH Survey for GPON site.
•AT and L2 for Commissioned Sites.
