Project Description: This project is a 47 km new dual carriageway that includes eight grade-separated interchanges and number lanes up to 7-10 on each side. It comprises 7 nr interchanges (including Dukhan Highway and Ceremonial Road Connections), Site Clearance, Soft and Hard Landscape, Manholes, Gullies, Swales, ITS (Intelligent Transport System), Asphalt, CBM, Earthwork, Junctions, Roundabouts, Road Crossing, Traffic Signs, Road Marking, Electrical ducts, LV/HV/EHV Network, Street Lighting, Guard Rail (Barriers), Warning Gantry, Balancing Culvert, Telecom ducts, CCTV, QAF ducts - manholes, protection and relocation of existing services, Potable water, Treated sewage effluent system TSE.
Duties with BOTC:
-Currently managing team of Four (4) Quantity Surveyors & Managing two (2) contracts worth QR 4.55 billion joint venture project Bin Omran and Vinci Construction.
-Preparing the Variations and taking the follow up actions until the approval from the client and PMC.
-Leading Commercial Meetings from Main Contractor Side.
-Preparation of Various commercial and contractual correspondences to Consultant and PMC, subcontractors and third parties.
-Preparing all type claims, variations, EOT Extension of time as applicable.
-Assisting the Project Manager and Commercial Manager in all the commercial and contractual aspects of both contracts.
-Preparing and submission of Monthly Financial Reports.
-Study project documents / drawings / specification / conditions of contract.
-Quantity Take off for Payments, Variations and ordering materials.
-Preparing the Bill of Quantities
-Preparing of the Rate Analysis.
-Verifying progress measurements in coordination with QA/QC, Site Engineers and Construction Managers.
-Preparing interim progress payments.
-Reviewing Sub-Contractors progress payment claims, measurement and certification.
-Notification, assessment, submission and settlement of all variations, claims and extension of time claims.
-Maintain records of site measurements and quantities.
-Timely entries of all Main Contract & Subcontract Payment Certificates.
-Assessment and settlement of Sub-Contract’s variations / claims.
-Settlement of provisional sum & prime cost items.
-Preparing the main and sub-contractor’s final account and project close out.
-Handling all contractual correspondence in co-ordination with Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
-Any other job related to the Contracts department based on the project requirements, assigned by the management from time to time such as tender risk evaluation and other project administration.
