Job Responsibilities as a Senior merchandiser:

o Accountable for the Annual Physical Inventory of all materials/stocks
o Prepare report of all properties/equipments/stocks on hand balance.
o Allocate the merchandise to showrooms as per the requirements and also replenish the same as per demand.
o Maintains quantity of supplies and monitors shelf life of a particular items based on receipts or invoices for submission to the accounting head.
o Verifies, checks discrepancies on stock quantities, packaging, quality and pricing
o Classifies, reviews and input data in the computer terminal according to prices, manufacturers name, part number/model number and stock number of certain materials
o Inspects materials in their storage locations to ensure that the sensitive are not deteriorated/damage for issuance purposes.
o Relocation of materials/stocks received to their respective locations.
o Analyzing sales and stock figures, and writing feedback reports and statements.
o Initiates replenishment action for items not available for issue from on-hand stock.
o Verifies stock record computations against physical count of stock.
o Guiding subordinates and superiors in case of doubts.
o Assists in the research of material request and provide purchase description and national or local stock numbers.
o Maintains records of the inventory and makes reports.
