- Conducting training needs analysis by partnering with the Business Unit Directors to define traiining requirements of their teams.
- Setting annual budgets, and ensuring compliance.
- Monitoring training of the Middle East, North Africa, and North Sea regions through qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
- Managing the Internal Instructor Improvement program.
- Measuring Training Impact. (Level 3 Evaluations)
- Working with external training suppliers that meet the Tenaris standards.
- Improving the training material and content.
- Organizing global and local training events.
This is my current role. I am managing a team responsible for all staffing, training, and development across MENA.
Aside from my training responsibilities outlined in the previous role, in this current role I am:
- Managing the performance management process for all employees of the Middle East and North Africa. This includes ensuring every employee receives regular feedback, a Mid-Year Review, and a Final appraisal.
- Monitoring our Key Talent pools objectives from a qualitative standpoint.
- Coaching employees on how to fulfill their individual development plan.
- Creating succession plans as per Tenaris local talent project.
- Conducting Career counseling sessions with employees using the DISC method.
- Management Control and reporting of Talent KPIs
- Designing and implementing development assignments for employees as needed, to support them with networking and learning.
- Setting plans to improve the results of the Tenaris EOS (Employee Opinion Survey)
- Managing the Global Trainee Program, which is a program designed for Fresh Graduate employees who join Tenaris.
Mobily is one of the leading telecom service providers in the Middle East. During my 2 years there, my role was specialized in recruitment and selection.
