Responsibilities:
• Implementation of preventive planned maintenance (PPM) work.
• Implementation of special maintenance and control of technical results.
• Responding to equipment faults and diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
• Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.
• Coordinating with client departments, customers and other colleagues.
• Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
• Ensuring the continuous equipment cover in case of breakdowns.

Laffan Refinery Project (LR2) - Ras Laffan, Qatar


Client:
QATAR GAS / Chiyoda - CTCI CCJV / CCC (Above USD 1.5 Billion Project)

Packages:
Rotating Equipment: Pumps, Motors, Compressors and Loading Arms.
Static Equipment: Vessels, Exchangers, Columns, Fan Coolers and Condensers.

Responsibilities:
• Implement Installation, inspection and final start up activities (final alignment and accessories setup) of Rotating Equipment, under vendor presence such as (General Electric “Nuovo Pignone”, ABB, SIEMENS, Mitsubishi, Ebara, FMC …etc.)
• Implement installation various types of Static Equipment.
• Direct Process components such as trays, structured and random packing rings, internals for separation columns and reaction technologies for various types of Columns & Vessels for multiple vendors such as (SULZER, KOCH-GLITSCH, UOP …etc.)
• Monitor lifting procedures and rigging studies and suggest improvements.
• Manage all construction activities at site with compliance of Client rules.
• Control and report project work and progress.
• Optimize safety processes to secure personnel and equipment.

Lusail Multipurpose Hall Project (LMHP)

Client:
Qatar Olympic Committee / ASTAD / KEO / CCIC

Responsibilities:
• Direct all engineering, construction, Testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Review submitted documents such as Shop Drawings, MAR’s, MSs and ITP’s.
• Planning site activities to keep work progress on track.
• Closely monitor site activities and making sure that project specifications and standards are followed.
• Implement installation of Thermal Tanks, Chillers, Cooling Towers and HVAC equipment such as AHUs, Fans, FCUs, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, etc.
• Managing installation and insulation of HVAC duct work and chilled water pipes, with all accessories, fittings, dampers, sound attenuators, etc.
• Coordinate with other MEP discipline.
• Reviewing As-built drawings after site work execution.

• Supporting Maintenance, After Sale Services and Spare Part Services.
• Investigation and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
• Documenting findings of improvements and faults in products and services in correspondence with the mother company.
• Evaluating employee performance and directly responsible for the repair garage.

Technical Support for Air Conditioning (AC) systems, Heating Systems, and sanitary system.

Technical Support for Air Conditioning (AC) systems
•Exploring the different types of AC systems, such as split units, ducted units and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, in addition to learning about the inverter technology.
•Knowing how to overcome architectural difficulties prior to and during installing different types of AC systems and witnessing their installation at numerous residential and commercial sites.
•Observing how troubleshooting is carried out by the maintenance team.

Technical Support for Heating Systems
•Understanding the main principles of operation of different heating systems, primarily under floor heating, and how they are used in different project designs.
•Supervising the installation and operation of heating system designs at numerous residential and commercial sites.
•Learning the maintenance methods and approaches used in detecting technical problems in boilers and heating systems and knowing how to address them.

Projects Department
•Understanding the project cycle from a supplier’s perspective.
•Learning how to approach and follow-up with consulting and contracting firms and how to adequately pick products that will comply with their requirements.

Research & Development Department
•Performing a detailed analysis of the annual electrical consumption of Izzat Marji Group’s different branches.
•Providing a solution to the high electrical consumption problem by suggesting amendments to the cooling system and lighting.
