• Acting as an “Assistant Finance Manager”, handling and managing month end closing reporting.
• Monthly variance analysis of revenue, cost and SG&A and reporting of any issues, risks & opportunities, including flash reporting.

Achievements

• Successful transition of a new FP&A role from UK.
• Derived £1m GBP cash flow impact through ‘Early payment project’ across consumer level business unit.
• Saved £0.6m GBP for the business by closing down old purchase orders in the system which results less system accruals and favourable profitability impact on the Profit and Loss account.
• Standardization of management reports and automation of the same to reduce time taken in preparation and enhancing the quality of reports.
• Taken up the responsibility of new role very fast within just few days from the predecessor, streamlined the process and laid down the SOPs for internal control purpose, and created good rapport with business partners.
• Recognise with quarterly and monthly awards many times throughout my tenure.
• Helped to create cross back-up roles between business units to make internal control system efficient and to minimise the business risk.
