Done re-development plan optimization of major carbonate reservoir (Thamama IIIC) of offshore ZADCO field through optimizing well spacing, Vertical well placement, Well Orientation, Injector pattern, Tubing size, economically viable number of infill wells and their locations, number of sectors for production allowable and well type- MRC / Multilateral / Horizontal / Deviated / Vertical etc.
Co-developed plan optimized for vertically adjacent reservoirs (Th3B2 and Th3B3) using future development wells of optimize re-development of Th3C reservoir as a perforation completions, dual-lateral dual completion and dedicated wells, so that Th3B2-B3 reservoir produce economically viable production.
Carried out economic analysis of field development plan / infill wells / EOR for various fields from calculation of Profit Oil, Cost Recovery, OPEX, CAPEX, NPV, IRR & ROI, UDC (unit development cost) and UTC (unit technical cost) etc.
Carried out screening for appropriate EOR techniques on the basis reservoir fluid / rock characterization and simulation study for best optimum recovery for different assets.
Evaluated the IOR and EOR potential of matured fields.
Completed compositional simulation study for different miscible and immiscible gas injectants (Enrich / Associated / GG2 hydrocarbon and CO2 gases), SWAG, uniform WAG, tapered WAG, Hysteresis and trap gas saturation sensitivities for different assets of onshore / offshore fields.
Evaluated full field miscible EOR potential assessment of Th2 reservoir of ZADCO field using type curves which are generated from 3D sector model compositional simulation results of geological similar areas.
Optimized the number of water/gas/WAG injectors, their locations and the volume of gas injected to obtain maximum oil recovery. Carried out uncertainty analysis for different parameters of reservoir.
Carried out different simulation sensitivities for HRT (High Rate Test) wells and infill drilling for optimum production, increasing ultimate recovery with maintaining VRR and reservoir pressure strategy in different regions of reservoir.
Vertical to horizontal permeability ratio (Kv/Kh) assessment and integration through sequential horizontal well test with uncertainty analysis of different parameters, Vertical Interference Test (VIT) across stylolites using MDT and well modeling (Nodal analysis), Core Plug and Whole Core to calibrate simulation model.
“Productivity Improvement Project”: Well reviews and preparation of PLT, TDT, well test, stimulation, coil tubing and rig workover programs for candidate wells.
Material Balance and Advanced Decline Curve Analysis for estimating remaining reserves and Well Performance Forecast, participating OGIP and contacted area for several producing fields in pseudo steady state using different methods like Pseudo Time, Normalize Time, Pseudo Pressure and Normalize Pressure.
Completed study for Reservoir Management & Water Flooding Optimization by Stream line calculation (VRR, Injection Efficiency, well allocation factor & maintained Reservoir Pressure).
Carried out Producer and Injector well performance through advance technical techniques like Modified hall plot, reciprocal productivity index, Deconvolution & Rate Transient Analysis.
Generated different type maps (Geological, Cross-section, Saturation & Pressure) in petrel, EMsee & Empower.
Evaluated and performance of gas injection pilot in Thamama II reservoir. Analyzed horizontal well buildup and evaluated performance of gas injection with respect to pressure, production, recovery, volumetric sweep, VRR.
Evaluated different methods of ROS determination for gas flood and prepared a pressure coring program with additional data gathering program for an observer well in the gas injection project.
Provided coaching/ mentoring and guidance to young engineers and recently joined engineers of UAE nationals.
