I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Interior Design Department, Jubail University College, KSA since 2015. I functioned as assistant Professor in department of Architectural Engineering, Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology, Egypt for one year.

Prior to the academic career, I have thirteen years of diversified experiences in the professional practice working in Alexandria water Company in different positions as a General Manager of the Technical Office, Quality assurance manager, a senior architect and a junior architect in site supervision

I received my doctoral degree in Architectural Engineering in 2011 from Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. My Thesis was concentrated on “Contemporary and future trends in Intelligent Buildings: Analytic Hierarchy Process in Selecting Intelligent Control Systems towards Optimal Decisions”. My master’s degree was about “Sustainable Development in architecture: A design process for energy efficient building” in 2006 from department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt.

My research interest is in the Intelligent Building Systems, as a post-doctoral researcher, I have continued this line of study with more focus on the applications to create an Intelligent Water Management System (IWMS) in office buildings. My future work will primarily focus on smart and sustainable cities.
