I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Interior Design Department, Jubail University College, KSA since 2015. I functioned as assistant Professor in department of Architectural Engineering, Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology, Egypt for one year.
Prior to the academic career, I have thirteen years of diversified experiences in the professional practice working in Alexandria water Company in different positions as a General Manager of the Technical Office, Quality assurance manager, a senior architect and a junior architect in site supervision
I received my doctoral degree in Architectural Engineering in 2011 from Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. My Thesis was concentrated on “Contemporary and future trends in Intelligent Buildings: Analytic Hierarchy Process in Selecting Intelligent Control Systems towards Optimal Decisions”. My master’s degree was about “Sustainable Development in architecture: A design process for energy efficient building” in 2006 from department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt.
My research interest is in the Intelligent Building Systems, as a post-doctoral researcher, I have continued this line of study with more focus on the applications to create an Intelligent Water Management System (IWMS) in office buildings. My future work will primarily focus on smart and sustainable cities.

- Designing and preparation of architectural drawings and tender documents for all types of
projects such as office buildings - central workshop Noubariya, warehouses, a mosque,
emergency generator’s building, raw water pumps’ building.

- Development the site planning for some projects such as extensions in Azab water station,
Fayoum, Rond point water station, Alex and Seyouf water station, Alex.

Duties held:
- Undertake Administrative and Academic duties such as results control and jury examinee.
- Researching on the related teaching material and evolving the required pedagogy.
- Supervision and counseling of students on theoretical and practical activities.
- Timely and comprehensive preparation of examination question papers and quizzes;
conducting examinations, carrying out assessment and reviewing results in compliance with
the institute rules and regulations and instructions.
- Systematic record and keeping of students' results, activities and attendance.

Duties held:
- Supervise worker activity and make sure construction projects are completed in time and within
budget.
- Implement safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards
and procedures which complying with legal regulations and policies
- Review contracts or work assignments to determine service, machine, or workforce
- Prepare required records, such as work activity or personnel reports.
PUBLICATIONS:
Research Project: Joint research with students to participate in the "Smart Cities" Competition
held by Effat University and Siemens, in 1 April 2021 and we won the second prize.
