Responsibility:
Ensure availability of raw materials by monitoring and analysing the stock in order to ensure on time delivery to customers.
Coordinate with Purchasing Manager and fellow staff to carryout daily purchasing functions as per situations demands.
Ensure clearance of shipments through systematic follow up with clearing agencies and port authorities on shipments status and monitoring duty exemptions for all shipments
Main Tasks
• Planning & Ordering of Raw materials and follow up for the shipping details and shipping documents.
• Work on raw material planning as per finished goods and raw material forecasting.
• Liaise with customs brokers for the clearance of goods from the border.
• Update factories with the update on the incoming shipments.
• Provide periodic reports of raw material purchases in reporting and documentation template
To design a purchasing order plan based on demand forecast. The orders are forconfectioneries and other fast-moving consumer goods from international suppliers. In addition, I am tasked with monitoring these orders from the order placement until the shipment enters the local distribution.
