When I joined in 1990, Gandour recorded a sale of 5m Saudi Riyal and currently the sale recorded
at the end of the year is 30m Saudi Riyal with a total team of 100+ staff members across various
nationalities. Wholesale contributes 75% of the total company sale.
* Introduced Gandour to Panda, Saudis biggest supermarket chain. In 1990 Panda’s head office was
in Riyadh and after much follow up and negotiation I successfully convinced them.
* Worked as the in charge of budget planning management for the two regions with the
responsibility to develop potential relations as well as new businesses
Successfully established the company’s branch for the Central and Eastern region.
* Introduced various products into the market.
* Hired staff for the branch and set up team of 25 members and introduced guidance programs.
* Deployed modern concepts to increase manpower productivity.
* In the first year established all corporate clients with the new revenue on behalf of the company
* Ensured distribution in organized and down trade areas.
* Met profit objective every operating month since inception.

* After working in Dammam for one year between 1982 -1983 I was transferred to Riyadh to setup
the company’s branch.
* After successfully setting up the office in Riyadh, I was then sent on to Jeddah to setup an office
there.
* Hired a team of 15 members for each branch and provided them with guidance.
* Successfully introduced the company in the market and found new accounts for the company.
* Streamlined processes and procedures so that all service levels were met with
regard to internal and external customer expectations.
* Acted as escalation point for team to resolve critical customer service issues.
* Built a motivated team through planning and behavioral interviewing hiring practices.
* Created a team spirited atmosphere through implementation of employee incentives.
