To ensure the systematic implementation of Reliability principles, techniques and tools on all electrical equipment at ARAMCO and the development of reliability strategies and plans.
To supervise and assist in managing electrical systems maintenance budget and contracts in all areas of the refinery, bulk plant, infrastructure, utilities and facility buildings to maintain high reliability and contribute to the integrity and security of the Electrical systems and to ensure its operations in accordance with ARAMCO specifications.
To provide technical expertise for electrical equipment maintenance activities, standards and procedures.
Assisting in developing Predictive and Preventative Maintenance plans and procedures for all electrical equipment.
Develop renovation plans for obsolescence to maintain high performance levels for Electrical Systems.
Provide technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all electrical equipment.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Divisions to assist in determining and predicting electrical equipment components’ life using appropriate reliability tools, such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Mean time between failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF), to ensure extended operating life of electrical equipment.
Facilitate investigations into electrical equipment failures or incidents to identify root causes. Produce written reports documenting the failure, cause and preferred solution by which similar failures or incidents are prevented.
Provided technical advice when required with regards to searching for and preparing new electrical equipment proposals, and review equipment specifications, documents and drawings.
Establish and audit backup and recovery procedures for Electrical system and related equipment.
Maintain and audit an inventory of electrical systems equipment. Ensure Electrical System spares are established and maintained
• I supervised material procurement, installation, testing commissioning and delivered high Quality work for electrical MV and LV power distribution systems, LC & ELV systems, Security Systems, Transformers (Dry Cast Resin), MRMUs, MV Generators, MV & LV Switch/Distribution Boards (Form4b, type 6), UPS, Capacitor/Battery Rooms, DC Chargers, Power Factor Correction, ATS, Lighting Control System, BMS, EPMS, Gateways, PLC, Infra-structure along with Electrical Design review, Shop drawings, As-Built, Vendor and Sub-Contractor Management, Testing and Commissioning Activities of Electrical Equipment’s and Cables, Cathodic protection, and Quantity Survey according to Project Specs, NEC, SEC, NFPA, BICSI and IEC along with all relevant documents until successful energizing and handing over to client.
• I supervised installation, Testing and Commissioning of BMS, EPMS, Integration System, PLC, Gateways, CISCO Patch panels/Servers and racks, IP Networking, Work-Stations and Video Wall, Lighting Control System, Access Control, CCTV, WIFI, DATA, Public Address, Intercom, Mantrap and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Developed ITP’s and Method Statements for tests, inspections and evaluations.
• Achieved approval for site inspections for executed work, Method statements & ITPs and assisted in maintaining the same as documented records.
• I supervised in the development, review and approval of construction plans, including goals and objectives, work breakdown structure, detailed scope description, detailed schedules, risk management approach, milestone description, budgets and staffing requirements for Electrical works until the closing stage of the project.
• Designed and developed forms and instructions for evaluating, assessing, reporting and documenting on quality issues during project construction.
• Had established and maintained strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, design team, authorities, and utilities and associated organizations.
• Attained all meetings with Client, Consultant, project team, Management, Sub-Contractors etc.
• Conducted trainings with site team before the activity starts for continual improvement in quality.
• Supervised and monitored closing of NCRs within the agreed time frame with the consultant.
• As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, I reviewed Designs and Shop drawings, Supervised Installation, Pre-inspected and did Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Works for the MV, LV and LC systems of the project, complying with Project Specifications, approved drawings, international codes and standards, Project Procedure Manual, Method statements, ITPs until the final handover of the site to Royal Commission Yanbu.
• Supervised installation, termination, testing and commissioning of Medium Voltage Main Distribution Power Feeder line (13.8 KV) off-site infrastructure from Marafiq Sub-station to site through Dry Utility Duct Bank, two MV SF6 Pad Mounted Switch gears (PMS) and MRMUs and turned over to End User Marafiq.
• Successfully handed over to Royal Commission Yanbu, internal LV distribution network of five-1500KVA and two-1000KVA, 13.8KV 480/230V, 3-Phase 4-wire Dead front looped type Package Substation with complete system.
• Supervised and assisted for Inspection techniques used in Electrical Testing & commissioning of MV Transformers, Potential Transformer/ Current Transformer Turn Ratio Test, MV Switchgears MV Metering unit, Cable of HV/MV/LV distribution networks under kind control of Senior Engineer of “MARAFIQ T&D Department YANBU”. Hand on experience in using different types Electrical Testing Equipment. Like: -AC/DC Hi- POT, Insulation Resistance Tester, Digital Low Resistance Ohm Meter (DLRO), Transformer Turn Ratio Testing Machine, Current Injector, Earth Resistance Tester.
• Supervised installation, termination, testing and commissioning of LV MDB (Form2) and sub-main distribution Panels, Electrical Equipment, conveying system, associated LV Cables and raceways, Cable Trays, building primary and emergency wiring, Lighting fixtures, convenience outlets for all the buildings of project.
• Supervised installation, termination, testing and commissioning of Low Current systems i.e., Smart City Telecom network, Data System, Fire Alarm system and CCTV of the project.
• On-site Dry Utility Infrastructure works for MV, LV, LC/Telecom Distribution system and Street Lighting System (12m, 8m and 3m Height).
• Co-ordinated with Mechanical department for providing power to mechanical equipment like AHU, FCU, Exhaust Fans, Water heaters, Fire Pump Motors (Electrical, Diesel, Jockey), Irrigation pumps.
• Minimized the construction cost and time of the project by proper management, innovations and safe working practices, avoiding repetitive works, by following PQP, contract specifications and monitoring subcontractors work, mitigating delays using critical path analysis and secured the financial rights of the company.
• Planned Electrical manpower requirement of the project at every construction stage and allocated work to various groups with respect to approved construction drawings.
• Prepared material schedules and assisted to Procurement Team in procuring Electrical Long Lead Items, materials, Tools and equipment with respect to approved Material submittals and from approved vendors/suppliers and arranged proper handling, storage of materials and equipment at project site.
• Pre-Inspected and took approval for Material submittals, arranged Material Inspections, Work Inspection for Royal commission and closed comments within respected time.
Conducted all the Electrical works at site, but not limited to installation of LC System, Control Panels, BMS, CCTV, IP Networking, Data System, PA System, Tetra System and First & Second fix of raceways as per the specifications, BICSI & manufacturer standards.
Ensured works are in accordance with project specification, contracts and approved method statements.
Coordinated with other departments such as Technical, Design, Procurement, Contracts and finance to ensure smooth operation of project to achieve required targets.
Ensured the quality activities in compliance with contract requirements, specifications and approved Shop Drawings
Monitored the electrical work on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the schedule, production budget, and technical accuracy.
Prepared progress reviews report periodically resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
Verified Sub-Contractor’s invoices in accordance with the Site works progress.
Quantity takeoff for Raceways, Cable trays, Support system, Wires, Cables, for Lighting and Power comply the Approved shop drawings

Weekly report and submitting to the Project manager and highlighting the Problems affecting the Progress on site.
Attending weekly/monthly meetings with Project Team and Consultants on Installation details and design issues. Review of shop drawings prior to submittal for approval.
Raising inspection & testing (RFI/T) for completion of work, equipment’s & materials
Request for information (RFI) to consultant for clarification of works.
