Duties:
Major responsibilities lie in & Pre-Sales Activities & Project Manager for IT Infrastructure & Low Current Systems.
PRE-SALES CONSULTANT:
• Developing solutions, Technical Proposals & Project Costing for Turnkey IT Infrastructure deals from Data Centers/ HW/ SW/ Networks, ISP/OSP Works, Low Current (CCTV, FA, PA, Physical Security, etc.).
• Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s, RFP’s & Tenders.
• Prepare Technical proposals, financial proposals, and RFP writeups.
• Working closely with Sales teams to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
• Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes.
• Engaging with Vendors, Distributors, and third-party sub-contractors for bid costing.

Duties:
Major responsibilities lie in the 3 fields of Business Operations - Data Center Management, Project Management & Projects Pricing.
Data Center Management:
➢ Monitor all SW, HW & Applications products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards.
➢ Supervise Maintenance tasks such as Hardware, Applications, Product & contracts Renewals, Spare Parts availability & inventory.
➢ Administer & Prepare plans for development and installation of new equipment according to present and future requirement
➢ Maintaining records and drawing schematics of the DC to detail what equipment is installed.
➢ Scheduling employee shifts. Vacation Plans, Skill Set redundancy for smooth business operation.
➢ Manage Engineer Tickets & Project Activities.
➢ Mentoring and developing operational teams such that they can run daily operations with minimal supervision
➢ Provide technical input to stakeholders for ongoing maintenance and repair strategy of server floor rack and power equipment and assist individual Data Center teams with deployments by providing advanced notice, and technical expertise.
➢ Maintain expert knowledge on all applications & services offered by data center and its use on systems for various critical systems.
➢ Maintain effective professional relationships with Customers & IT Service Providers.
➢ Escort customers through the center on tours & services Offered by Data Center.
➢ Technologies being used in Data Center
o Switching & Routing: Cisco Routers, Cisco Core, Distribution, DMZ, Internet & Access Switches.
o Servers: HP, Dell, IBM, Cisco
o Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V; OS: Windows- Linux (Centos, Ubuntu Server, Suse)
o Storage: IBM SAN, EMC NAS
o Security: FortiGate, Cisco Ironport, Sophos, Kaspersky End Point.

Projects Management:
➢ Project Manager for various IT Project assigned by Management, Like: IT Infrastructure, Low Current, Supply & Installation of HW/SW/Licenses, Internet Connectivity and O&M Projects.
➢ Developing project Scopes, WBS, Schedule, Risks, Procurement Plans involving all relevant Stakeholders.
➢ Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
➢ Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors, Ensure resource availability and allocations.
➢ Report and escalate to management as needed.
➢ Manage the relationship with the client, vendors and all stakeholders.
➢ Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
➢ Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
➢ Overseeing Project Budget, Timely Funding, Costing and Billing.
➢ Evaluating the success of the project against its benchmarking and sharing lessons learned or best practice with Team & Other Project Managers.
Projects Pricing:
➢ Core member for Evaluating Tender/ Bid/ RFP to check if the RFP is in line with company scope & specialization. Actively participate in Go/No Go decision
➢ Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
➢ Negotiate with Vendors/ Suppliers/ Distributors for Payment Terms.
➢ Attention to details for Hidden Cost, Shipping and Customs.
➢ Prepare clearly BAFO (Best and Final Offers) along with comparison sheets for management approval.
➢ Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
➢ Negotiate Payment & Delivery Terms
➢ remain competitive - understanding of market trends.
➢ Perform partnering with Procurement, Buyers, Product Managers and Sales Department to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach.
In addition to the day to day ICT Operational activities of Planning/ Managing/ Monitoring the ICT infrastructure below are some of the routine duties:
-Managing ICT Operations in a busy work environment, An ICT network supporting over 1500 users located in geographically disperse locations and demanding ICT Services.
-Managing a team of over 18 technical staff.
-Accountable for ICT Service Availability.
-Manage the ICT budgets and expenditure.
-Working closely with the Vendor, Contractors, Finance, Procurement, HR & Facility departments for ICT Projects.
-Procurement of ICT Hardware, software and maintenance products & services.
-Recommending and implementing improvements and efficiencies to ICT services.
-Managing Cost Allocations for services offered by ICT.
-Evaluate, advise, test, train and support ICT related projects.
-Writing documentation for ICT procedures, security and disaster recovery.
-Responsible for the recruitment and training of new ICT staff.
-Establish and implement Operational departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
-Conceive and establish asset management practices and processes to track all assets from purchase to disposal.

-Project Manager from company side (Client) reporting to Project Sponsor & have in-house AX technical & administrative staff as sub ordinates.
-Point of contact with consultants & implementer project team.
-Oversee the ERP project life cycle activities (Analysis, Solution Builds, Deployments, Trainings, Data preparations/ uploads, Go live activities)

-End to End Designing, Planning, Monitoring execution & Supervising of Installation of WAN Routers for 28 locations using the best possible connection media (Fiber/ Lease/ PMP/ CMTS/ DSL/ V-SAT)
-Review SLA scope with ISP.
