- Managing program activities (several related projects deliver specific benefits like CPF program containing projects of transit line, power plant, and process plant) by coordinating/optimizing available resources with the both internal and external stakeholder, and working with virtual teams and different cultures to deliver organization intended benefits within specified constrains & assumptions of budget & schedule.
- Contributing in reviewing ITB documents, HAZOP, Design Review Sessions, and technical evaluation for long lead items (LLI) of the projects at the purchasing process.
- Managing & monitoring Project Management Consultant team (PMC) included all discipline engineers, by approve vendor drawings & documents (like, WPS and WPQ revisions), materials/equipment inspection as per procedures and ITP, Request For Inspection (RFI), route surveys, site technical queries (STQ), performance test & commissioning procedures.
- Monitoring & controlling project execution phase by reviewing Daily, weekly and monthly reports, and also using Project Performance Measurement System (like critical path calculations, Earned Value Management (EVM) & S curves) to explore forecast and future expectations based on project planning.
- Managing project changes, new site technical queries, and new identified risks (positive or
negative) by updating our plans and communicate changes to our key stakeholder.
- Conduct performance meeting & presentations throughout project life cycle, and confirm that the earned value data were favorable & end user requirements were met, issuing warning letters or Non Conformance Report (NCR) for any deviation occurred from drawings, procedures or Third Inspection Party (ITP).
- Managing and guiding commissioning team at the start-up plant, ensure detailed engineering deliverable (P&ID, Plot Plans, Piping Arrangements, Isometric Drawings, As-Built Drawings etc..) are met, and support operation team according to approved commissioning plans and procedures.
- Represent Owner for (FAT) and (SAT) missions especially for major equipment (Pumps, Chemical Injection Skids, Test Skid, Metering Skid, PSS …).
- Review and approve project certificates (Mechanical Completion, Provisional Acceptance & Final Acceptance), and tracking the killing of remaining punch list, submission of final documentation (including red mark-up & As-built drawings), and warranty claims of user department with respective contractor during warranty period.
- Collect and seek projects lesson learned from all stakeholder (project team, contractors,
sub-contractors, vendors…) throughout project life cycle to enhance my organization knowledge management assets and to use it for future programs or projects.
• Managing a team and power station equipment consist of 58 persons & 9 engines with total capacity 36, 62 MW, air compressors, automation systems, control panels, UPS, Switchgears, substations and 11kv & 33kv OHTL grid.
• Power plant planning includes budgeting, staff development, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling of equipment.
• Responsible from Operation & Maintenance of power plant.
• Keeps power plant running smoothly by good management of load distribution and according to the maintenance schedules.
• Carry out monthly analysis of plant lube oil & engines cooling water, and make technical decisions accordingly.
• Supervision of maintenance team during maintenance activities and confirms apply safety precautions and follows manufacturing instructions.
• Prepare investigation technical reports for tripping engines & shutdown cases.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually reports.
• In case of plant expansion or upgrade, carryout comprehensive study, justification and analyse all reasons to find out the minimum cost, time, good quality, including the re-commissioning requirements of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic and Instrumentation equipment.
• As end user I’m responsible of carry out commissioning & start up equipment perfectly, and then tracking trends during warranty period in case of new or extensions projects in the plant.
• Carry out annual performance appraisal for my team and then prepare annual training plan by focusing to the staff weakness points.
• Writing & preparing proposal reports for plant issues which are needed solution.
• Instructing and training new comer’s staff and tracking their developments.
• Create and update plant policies & procedures if required, by draw out plant’s lessons learned and then confirm it is following organization policies.
• Reporting to power plant superintendent and field production manager.
• Carry out annually inventory lists for our customers.
• Make marketing surveys to the both local & international markets competition, demand & supply of varies types of spare parts and other equipment.
• Maintain hot lines with our regional & international suppliers to keep importing processes running smoothly according to our customer’s requests.
• Carry out necessary contacts & fruitful communications with different government’s organization like customs, ministry of trading… etc.
• Ensure materials selection according to customer’s specifications needs.
• Also looking for new customers by providing interesting offers for them with additional services and keeps close with them.
• Make (win-win) negotiations with our customers to expand customer’s network.
