• Preparing overall cost plan starting from conceptual stage to detailed design.
• Preparation of BOQ as per the drawings from schematic to detailed design as per CSI format.
• Taking-off as per the Standard Method of Measurements.
• Review and Negotiation with client for measured quantities and their rates as per contract.
• Review and certification of Payment Applications submitted by sub-contractor for their invoices.
• Preparation of Interim Payment Applications to submit to client for monthly invoicing with substantiated documents in efficient and timely manner as per contract.
• Preparation of RFQ's packages.
• Evaluation of requests for reviewing Change orders and Variations.
• Finalizing the Final Account.
• Liasing with different stakeholders to complete the works and finding any solutions to the problems in accordance with the contract.
• Complying to all main contract and subcontract processes
• Preparation and submission of Payment Applications for all work packages to client on a monthly basis with full supporting documentation in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with the contract.
• Preparation of RFQ’s, coordinating with bidders, evaluation, and negotiation till finalizing the contract.
• Negotiations of contracts (including cost, contract conditions etc., ) with subcontractors.
• Verification of measurements on site to establish the true value of work done.
• Calculation of drawing total quantities for all packages as per specification for budgeting purpose and comparing it for final settlement of contractors claim.
• Reviewing subcontractors IPA’S and issuance of IPC’s.
• Prepare and maintain records of all subcontractors’ agreements and payments
• Evaluation of requests for variation claims and finalizing with the subcontractors.
• Build and maintain relationships with both the client and subcontractors.
• Review contract documents, and ensure its being implemented as per contractual practice.
• Bills of Quantities, Scope of works, Schedules of Works, Specifications, Conditions of Contract and all contract documentation.
• Preparing monthly report following the requirement of contracts and consultant requirements.
• Control and adhere to Claim and Counter Claim notifications, updates, and reports.
• Involved in internal company reporting so that the management is kept updated with the financial status of the project.
• Ensure site team compliance with Company commercial policies and procedures.
• Problem solving any discrepancies with the consultant.
• Reporting to Contracts Manager on all Commercial and Contractual issues.
• Coordination with Cost Consultants for Quantities and Man power related works.
• Responsible for managing all project works related to quantities from pitch to completion.
• Measure, review and submission of Quantities for Civil works for items such as steel, formwork and concrete for different sub and super structures as per relevant Method of Measurements (MoM).
• Estimation and Costing of the Steel Structural elements.
• Quantity takeoff.
• Measurement, Review and submission of different subcontractors works as per drawings.
• Preparation of Interim Payment Application.
• Review and recommendation of contractors valuation, claim and variation
