Project Initiation
-If applicable, could participate in developing project charter and identify stakeholders.
Project Planning
-Assist planning team in realistic project baseline generation by providing accurate project scope definition/requirements, logical WBSs and sequence of activities, realistic productivity rates to be used in activates duration estimation, review cost estimates for any atypical figures, assist in defining risks and plan risk responses, help in planning procurements based on project requirements.
Project Execution
-Ensure the preparation of mutually agreed shop drawings and materials submittals submission logs with expected submission dates based on project`s baseline and requirements.
-Development of mutually agreed sub-schedules for work packages based on project requirements and approved baseline.
-Supervise the production of coordination drawings and ensure that all MEP installations are coordinated with each other’s and with other civil/Arch. Constructions with indication of required builders’ works.
- Check site activities and provide necessary recommendations, notifications and reminders to concerned stakeholders about any deviations, corrective actions or anticipated conflicts.
-Distribute information, documents and correspondences as necessary to all concerned stakeholders and ensure their acknowledgment, understanding and adherence to its contents.
-Coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure obtaining clearances necessary to start project activities.
-Provide technical support and solve site conflicts.
-Assist QS and planning teams in the preparation of MEP monthly progress.
Project Monitoring and Controlling
-Follow up the status of above mentioned logs and sub-schedules, keep interested stakeholders informed and recommend recovery/corrective actions.
-Produce and distribute various performance reports and correspondences to concerned stakeholders.
-Monitor and control project risks.
-Monitor and control project procurement.
Project Closing
-Coordinate and manage the production of project close-out documents as per contract requirements.
-Ensure client/End-user formal satisfaction and acceptance of all project deliverables.
a- Interviewing and selection of MEP team.
b- Preparation of MEP BoQs.
c- Participating in MEP procurement processes.
d- Guiding drafts man through MEP shop drawings preparation.
e- Preparation, submission and following-up of MEP submittals.
f- Managing and coordinating MEP sub-contractors and site works.
g- Preparation of reports, correspondences and liaising with client and consultant.
Prepare and review MEP part of tenders, prepare and reviwe MEP submittals, follow up and coordinate the execution of MEP work on site until testing, commissioning and hadovering.
Handel MEP work on site, coordinate with main contractors and consultants, prepare schedules, progress reports, payment certificates, variation orders and managing inspections.
