DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identify and approach prospective customers for Heavy Shipment for Export and Import, Land Transport and Express Services. Update all the collected information marked separately for future follow up and further visit to potential clients.
2. Understand freight and logistics requirements of the prospective clients suggest them best rate and services, and facilitate Account opening for interested clients.
3. Timely responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) by sending company profile and doing follow up through telephone and personal visit
4. Timely response to RFQs (Request for Quotation) with the best rate depending on the enquiry in consultation/negotiation with Agents, Airlines and Overseas offices
5. Look after the Logistics Requirements of Key clients in a timely manner and update the shipment status on a regular basis.
6. Coordinate with overseas offices and local carriers for routing instructions of
confirmed orders, follow-up and updates the information to respective clients.
7. Assists the Account dept. in pending bill recoveries by timely follow up and personal visit if needed.
8. Deliver and exceed Sales Targets with focus on business plan through new customer acquisition and generating more business from existing clients.
9. Update all the enquiries and correspondences timely on Gulf Soft as a record as well for future follow and action
10. Maintain current knowledge of relevant legal, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
11. Develop and implement a personal sales plan for identifying and gaining new business to achieve the individual sales targets.
1). Responsible for the sales of bank’s retails products such as Salary Account, Credit Cards, Insurance, Cross Sales of Personal Loan etc.
2). Carry out the Institutional Based Selling activities by approaching potential companies to incorporate them into the approved list of the bank.
3). Delivering detailed presentation of bank products and services to the key decision makers of the companies in order to secure pay rolls and in turn generate fresh business.
4). Design, Suggest and Present exclusive tailor made packages for companies.
5). Implement and carry out sales and marketing activities in different companies.
6) Provide quality customer services to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and referral of more customers
7). Provide market intelligence on regular basis for formulating new or modifying bank business strategies and plans.
8). Work as a Team Leader whenever TL is absent, these duties includes submission of teams’ application forms after proper checking, provide daily sales report to higher authorities, follow up of the applications which has been send for the processing, accompany the team members for important meetings to companies, etc.
