Shift Supervisor loading and dispatch at Eastern Province Cement

(1) Monitors all the incoming materials (bauxite, iron ore, etc.) and
all outgoing process material like cement and clinker.
(2) Reviews traffic flow and coordinates with loading personnel
regarding work flow or equipment malfunctions.
(3) prepares schedule and directs activities related to bulk loading, packing and loading of cement and clinker products according to sales order.
(4) Monitors trucks movement from the weighbridge to the concerned loading lane for bags or bulk cement.
(5) Monitors correctness of loading orders and instruct operators to
effect loading and dispatch.
(6) Ensure proper function of auto pack and roto pack, loading
chutes and all associated control system.
(7) Periodically checks the correctness of bag weight and
undertakes the necessary calibration in
coordination with maintenance staff as and when
required.
(8) Prepares schedule for the inspection and maintenance of
packing machineries for trouble free dispatch
operation.
(9) Monitors quality of product being dispatched and in case of
any contamination, informs supervisor for
corrective measures.
(10) Assists the supervisor monitor the inventory of paper bags
and cement stock.
(11) Monitors the weigh bridge weigh scales and the performance of all other machineries in his area of responsibility to ensure proper function and calibration in coordination with maintenance department.
(12) Coordinates with warehouse division for the proper documentation of all incoming materials related to his area.
(13) Monitors the quantity of cement and bags being loaded compared to the loading orders and ensures its accuracy.
