Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

General role outlook:
• Manage, perform and supervise contracting activities initiation to closeout (multi USD billions contracts)
• Coordination with Project Management, other Departments and Client.
• Self-perform activities as required to support the project and achieve milestones.
• Team management, guidance, and development to effectively resolve change events, claims, and disputes fairly, coordinating with Legal if required.
• Manage significant commercial matters to resolution, defining strategy and actions.
• Team player, provide and receive guidance and feedback.

Pre-Award
Develops and issues contracts and service agreements by performing:
• In accordance with project procedures, handles tender process from beginning to end; forming and issuing tender packages, tracking and closing queries, receiving and evaluating proposals, and providing recommendations for award
• Prepares and organizes meetings/workshops, such as bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the client, and contractor on all contractual matters.
• Maintains registers, dashboards, and other relevant program reporting tools and presents the same.
• Accountable for the quality, accuracy and completeness of documents produced and review and editing of the same from team members.
• Prepares contract documents for execution with Customer’s Legal Advisors.
• Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents.
• Performs other pre-award duties as required.

Post-Award
Responsible for:
• Implementation of Contract & Commercial Management procedures and processes for the administration of the Contract.
• Review of Contract general terms and conditions to identify and monitor areas of risk, ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work and the actions required.
• Development and management of appropriate mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Maintains registers, dashboards, and other relevant program reporting tools and presents the same.
• Accountable for the quality, accuracy and completeness of documents produced and review and editing of the same from team members.
• Identification and resolution of Contract claims as they develop, including engagement of corporate legal department where necessary.
• Obtaining all contract deliverables for timely work handover and close-out of contracts.
• Performs other post-award duties as required.
