Prepare development plans for newly joined engineers, supervise overall major activities and provide support to engineers, manage engineers coverage and prepare vacation leave plan, monitor engineers actions and ensure proper handling to maintenance activities, evaluate engineers performance and initiate appraisals, monitor and control overall expenditure in major maintenance items, ensure execution of approved operating plan items, participate in initiating business operating plan for coming years and provide estimation cost for in-kind replacement, complete mid-year and year-end accountability reports, and cover maintenance support unit supervisor position during his absence.

Total plant shutdown coordinator for Safaniya Plant in which I supervise and lead operation and maintenance teams to complete the execution of 83 shutdown items with 2 days ahead of schedule. This resulted in total saving of 4, 200, 000 barrels of Arab Heavy and Arab Medium Crude Oil.
Analyze failures and find root causes of equipment problems, review and execute inspection work sheets, monitor maintenance charges and control budget in projects, initiate repair scope of work for major equipment overhaul/repair, develop short and mid form contracts and supervise contractors execution until the required job is completed, estimate cost of major maintenance and new work and upgrade items, prepare direct charge purchase requisitions for non stock materials and expedite the material delivery, evaluate technical proposals for normal maintenance work, plan execution and initiate execution chart for major maintenance activities, provide technical assistance for all maintenance crafts, manage plant's work orders and control maintenance backlog, collect shutdown items and ensure required materials availability, maintain equipment data and history updated in SAP system, enhance maintenance performance and control key performance indices, and resolve chronic maintenance issues in my area plant

I was the leader in my final project team to complete our project titled Robot Assisting the Handicapped. The project idea is to design and manufacture a small robot that can set on wheel chair arm and grip stuff from the ground and bring it up to the handicapped person.
