- Ensure timely and professional handling of all administrative aspects of treaty and facultative operations in respect of accounts including the exchange of correspondence with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers and follow-up the receipt of counter-signed of closings.
- Allocation of risk per treaty definitions
- Quarterly prepare and send technical SOA to all treaty participants by UW year.
- Review and settle reinsurance accounts on monthly basis (Facultative).
- Liaison between reinsurers and claims personnel when difficulties arise regarding collection.
- Handle routine problems and inquiries directly related to reinsurance accounting function.
- Prepare and send (Closings) Debit and Credit Advices to the reinsurers and follow up of counter duly singed and stamp.
- WEEKLY - Risk Distribution for classes Liability, PA, Motor, Marine and Misc (review and print ALL policies/endorsements
- Statement of Account Reconciliation.
- Assist Senior RI Manager during renewal submission (2 months before renewal)
- Update Treaties statistics statement by quarterly. Calculate PC/final premium xol adjustments etc, if necessary
- Prepare/Generate various reports in coordination with Senior RI Manager (including quarterly Activity Report).
- Participate actively in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business associates
