• Internal audit management in The Fund. The financial, the administrative, and the technical aspects.
• Identify potential risks in the fund business.
• Prepare an audit plan (3 years), based on those risks.
• Implement audit plan, and evaluate the results continuously
• Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques.
• Conduct risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
• Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.
• Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide advice on internal control and participate in enhancing internal audit standards and practices.
• Document the results of audit work in accordance with audit standards.
• Prepare timely audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Performance evaluation and measurement.
• Supervision on Fund's reply to external audit's reports. (Ministry of Finance, and General Auditing Bureau).
• Develop and implement an inventory plan of all assets.
• Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditors, on audit assignments.
- Full responsibility of financial and administrative control in The Fund.
- Establish and maintain a system of internal controls and a program of internal control review.
- Develop annual and semi-annual plans, and work tasks of controlling activities.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports of the results of the controlling work, to the High management and the Board.
- Develop and improve the performance of the department and staff.
- Hold training seminars.
In addition to my duties as a financial and administrative controller mentioned above, I have performed the following tasks:
• Contribute in developing the annual operational plan of the department.
• Training controllers, accountants, and other staff as needed.
• Developing training programs in The Main Center, and supervising implementation.
• Assist Supervising of the department as needed.
• Representing the department in diverse occasions in The Fund or outside.
- Field trips to branches and offices to assure a complete application of rules, regulations, laws, and procedures.
- Audit the financial and administrative transactions, records, and accounts.
- Audit the banking accounts with the central bank (SAMA) and commercial banks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of all departments in The Fund. Accounting, Budget, Collection, HR, Credit, Projects, Warehouses ….etc.
Determine the needs of staff and facilities in branches and affiliate offices.
- Study the issues and conduct investigations regarding financial and administrative irregularities.
- Execute administrative and financial investigations.
- Monitoring performance of Automated Systems and Programs of the Fund, and analysis related reports.
- Prepare and submit financial and administrative reports.
- Recommend needed actions. Solutions, Training programs, investigations ….etc.
- Member of various committees and work teams.

- Review and approve financial transactions for loans, subsidies, and projects.
- Developing budgets of the branch.
- Prepare the annual financial plan, and direct and supervise the implementation.
