Directly reporting to the Business Architect section head under the Unified Business Information System (UBIS), to perform the following tasks:
• Maintain detailed knowledge of EHS processes within the user organizations departments, and understand how processes transcend department boundaries and the impact of other functions within the Organizations and Ministry of Oil and Gas.
• Assess end-user input about EHS process improvement.
• Assess and monitor the EHS processes performance and metrics with a focus on continuous process improvement
• Identify action items as needed to achieve continuous process improvement
• Identify process/procedural changes to measurably improve overall process performance at a KPI level
• In conjunction with the change management/continuous training group, regularly assess end-user competency and provide directives for raising the level
• Work with business stakeholders to clarify and ensure linkage between system enhancements and business process benefits.
• Work with other process owners and business leaders to assess cross-functional process metrics and performance
• Review and evaluate the capabilities of existing systems for conformance to standards, and maintain a clear understanding of the system development and maintenance lifecycle
Responsible for conducting occupational health and safety inspections upon wide spectrum of industries, that should comply with local regulation (Environmental Protection Regulation) and Dubai Municipality technical guidelines; Now responsible for conducting occupational health and safety audits on Dubai Municipality Directorates with the Audit and Permits Team, which report to the occupational health and safety section head.

• Has proposed new improvements on Consumer product review workflow at the Consumer Product safety system.
• Has suggested new improvements on the municipality’s safety audit process.
• Personally selected to represent the section at the awareness team which extend its work to reach even the public.
The main area of responsibility was to understand the HSE business requirements and align petroleum companies with the Sudanese Ministry of Petroleum’s Health, Safety and Environment requirement through the Unified Business Information System (UBIS) SAP implementation and support projects.
Also proposing solutions for gabs and opportunities by preparing the necessary technical documentations, business blueprint and functional specifications; as well as helping companies under the program to sustain their level of compliance with the new system by carrying out the required support, change management, education and training sessions.

• Played an active role, through 3 successful projects, to align main petroleum company’s business processes, performance and practices with the UBIS strategies.
• Drafted and proposed templates for implementation technical documents that align with the UBIS policies.
• Developed processes and templates to streamline the Quality Management System with the SAP requirements.
• Led and managed successfully sub-project like training.
Seconded for Unified Business Information System (UBIS) project to explain the HSE requirements on behave of Sudanese Ministry of Petroleum, test the final system and train other end user staff on the new SAP ERP system.

Taking charge of Reviewing, evaluating HSE performance of Oil and Gas operating companies throughout different site visits, inspection or audits (Onshore and Offshore).
In addition to Generate HSE reports, conducting accident investigations, implementing HSE quality management system (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) beside evaluating environmental impact assessments (EIA) and other HSE studies.

Achievements
• Become an active team player in a committee designated to revise and amend the Sudanese HSE Oil and Gas regulations.
• Showed an incredible performance and successfully completed the inspectors training course on HSE compliance on drilling aspects, completion and production activities at Stavanger, Norway.
• Certified as trainer has enabled to conduct successful orientations, training courses and workshops for researchers and under graduate students, as well as young staff on the HSE aspects in Oil and Gas Sector.
• Successfully presented a paper, on the “Waste Treatment and Recycling Conference” at University of Gazira, titled by: Waste on the Sudanese Oil fields.
• Dynamically represented the directorate in variety of seminars, workshops and conferences and later selected to represent the directorate as HSE core team on SAP implementation project.
• Mentors young staff on Oil and Gas industry aspects and related HSE activities.
Had rotated among different laboratories and units in Central Petroleum Laboratories (CPL)/Sudanese Petroleum Corporation, where different analysis especially for fuels and crude oil, variety of water tests and other tests pertaining to the environment (e.g. BOD, COD, Oil and Grease in Water, pH, etc...) has been performed.
Achievements
• Studied as well as examined variety of waste minimization technologies, waste management and treatment approaches on oil fields and refineries.
• Nominated to work at the CPL Safety Committee and as internal auditor.
