Automation Testing \nI worked (architect, develop and maintain) on the below projects in the Automation Team: \nChallenges \n Communication Center \n Getting Started \n Account Setting \n My Profile \nThese projects aim to test different modules in http://www.weightwatchers.com website through automated script using VB script Language. \nResponsibilities and Duties: \n Work closely with QA manual team to acquire test cases and test scripts \n Collaborate closely with other members of the QA and Engineering teams to build a strong knowledge of the functionality of certain areas and the business rules that those areas are driven by. \n Create automated test cases using VBScript on QTP (Quick Test Professional) tool. \n Debug the script. \n Configure the script to run on 12 countries (English & Non-English countries). \n Create a Data Driven table. \n Architect, develop and maintain automated test scripts \n Create batch files for each project to associate functions libraries from AOM (Automation Object Model). \n Research, propose and implement new automation strategies, tools and standard. \n Participate in code reviews and conduct root cause analysis. \n Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. \nTools Used: \n Toad for Oracle : to create and execute Queries needed in automation Script \n Quick Test Professional-QTP \n GIT :free and open source tool for project versioning and Source Code \nManagement (SCM) \n HP Quality Center (QC) for reporting defects. \n VMware WorkStation to run different projects on different virtual machines.
Responsibilities and Duties: \n- Test Planning \n- Creating and executing load tests as well as analyzing results \n- Assisting the manual team by executing certain scripts to create required data set for testing purposes \n- Develop data driven test automation scripts and executes performance and load testing of client products \n- Use Load Runner to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications. \n- Creating Batch files to reduce manual efforts and minimize repeated and tedious tasks as much as possible \nLoadRunner is an automated performance and test automation product from HP for testing system behavior and performance while generating actual users load on the Application. \nTools Used: \n- Toad for Oracle: to get the required data from the Database to simulate real users load. \n- Load Runner Virtual User Generator: to create scripts for single user and do the required enhancements to the script in a way that it can be run for multiple users. \n- Load Runner Controller: to create scripts for single user and do the required enhancements to the script in a such a way that it can be run for multiple users \n- Load Runner Analysis: used to Analyze the results and create graphs and reports to present the performance test report to stake holders \n- HP Quality Center (QC) for reporting defects. \n- Fiddler : to capture and correlate the captured Sent Requests and Received Responses
