Managing “Central Axis Phosphate Slurry Pipeline” project with an estimated budget of 350 Million US$. This new project is aiming to reinforce OCP’s leading position in Phosphate production market by ensuring the company cost & capacity leadership and maximizing operational flexibility.
Managing “North Axis Phosphate Slurry Distribution to Chemical Plants” project at OCP Industrial complex in Jorf Lasfar.
My main roles were:
• Ensure the project management according to J-steps
• Elaborate WO and Org chart for project management tasks
• Manage preparation of ITB for project execution in EPC
• Manage the technical bids evaluation
• Participate in commercial bids evaluation, negotiation with bidders and EPC contractor selection
• EPC contract follow-up
• Team management
• Schedule management
• Management of changes
• Field services supervision, beyond zero safety culture maintained on site
• Commissioning and start-up activities supervision
• Progress reporting to Client (Dashboards, Monthly progress reports, etc.)
Managing and coordinating technical interfaces for OCP Treatment Projects including Beneficiation Plants, Slurry Pipeline and Downstream projects to ensure compliance with schedule, overall design consistency and integrity.
I was involved in ‘North Axis Slurry Pipeline’ project (from Khouribga to Jorf-Lasfar, 235 Km). I have mainly contributed to:
• Basic Design contract follow-up and deliverables check-up
• Topographical and Land Acquisition operations follow-up
• Managing Geotechnical investigations
• Project Schedule and Cost estimate
• Progress reporting
• Staff supervision
• Bidders pre-qualification
• Preparation of ITB documents
• Bids evaluation (Multi-criteria Analysis)
I was involved in Feasibility study of ‘Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro’ project in Saudi Arabia. The main aspects of my role were:
• Transport Demand and Offer forecast
• Coordination between Planning, Architectural and Infrastructure departments
• Project Total Cost estimate
I have participated to the procurement operations and construction management for the ‘New Emirates Engineering Centre’ project. My main tasks were:
• Supervision of construction of the plane maintenance hangar (steel structure)
• Design check-up (civil design, steel structure main design and calculation notes)
• Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical works coordination
• Contractor and subcontractors contracts follow-up
• Management of changes
• Site Quality Control
• Monthly Work Progress reporting to Client
• Staff supervision
I was involved in elaborating detail engineering for the ‘New Emirates Engineering Centre’ project.
