IT Operational Risk Management
Handling the risk assessment of the information systems and networks and security management.
Checking and recommending safeguards, controls and solutions to avoid/ limit potential harms from threats and vulnerabilities
Monitoring, examining and Keeping abreast of new and changing threats exposing the bank information systems, networks, software solutions, new products and services to potential harms.
Document risk incidents, responses, gaps, failures, develop and ensure that risk scenarios are identified and evaluated.
Review and monitor the implementation of the bank’s business continuity and contingency plans, and provide recommendation as to its proper functioning and risks mitigation.
Develop and suggest plans to ensure that risk factors and events are addressed in a cost-effective manner and in line with business objectives.
Design and Conduct regular Risk and Control Self-Assessment workshops to assess risks and controls and report related findings and evaluations
Review and propose, when necessary, security solutions for the business to ensure the existence of robust controls against system vulnerabilities and external threats
Ensure that new products and technologies conform to information security policies, standards and best practices, transparency and compliance requirements, partnering with others to identify and resolve information security issues.
Coordinate with the operational risk team leaders and manage the Information System Risk Team, monitor and indicate weakness and training requirements;
