Project: The SPINE - NEOM
“The SPINE is an ambitious project of infrastructure corridor including tunnels and railways, currently under construction. It is a lifeline connecting The LINE Project development to OXAGON - NEOM’s industrial hub. Bechtel Corporation is working as EPM (Executive Program Manager) for these projects.”
Responsibilities:
• Review of drawings, method statements, management plans, operational plans, logistics plans, progress reports, scope of work, specifications, BOQ, etc., on Aconex
• Management of construction operation works for Adits and Tunnels construction.
• Overseeing tunnel construction activities, including excavation, lining installation, and support system implementation, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Management and construction of residential projects, accommodation camps, offices, recreational areas, resident’s parks, landscape, irrigation systems, outdoor space development, concrete batching plants, access roads, walkways, etc., from design to commissioning and operational stage.
• Serve as the central point of contact for client, design, and construction teams.
• Interface management and coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and smooth execution.
• Addressing construction challenges and unforeseen issues promptly and implementing effective solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Keep track of project timeliness and milestones, taking necessary actions to prevent delays and ensure timely completion.
• Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, preparing progress reports, and communicating project updates to stakeholders.
• Develop energy saving/sustainability solutions to improve energy consumption footprint.
• Active participation in interface, progress and commercial meetings with the Client and Contractors and issuing minutes of progress meetings.
• Review of variations and claims and drafting letters to the contractors.
• Preparation of dashboards, presentations and compliance reports for Client & higher management and coordination with the Client for the approval and smooth handover of the projects.
• Monitoring the O&M of facilities (like site offices, water tanks, STPs, generators, solar panels, roads, landscape, utilities, firefighting, security etc., ) required to support the construction works.
Project: Riyadh Metro
“A fully integrated metro system includes construction of underground, at-ground and elevated stations, depot and tracks; Metropolis Trainsets, Urbalis signaling system, Appitrack (automatic track laying), Hesop, etc. The project has been successfully delivered by FAST consortium partners (Alstom, FCC, Samsung C&T, Strukton, Freyssinet, Atkins, Typsa & Setec)”
Responsibilities:
• Managing the internal execution team and subcontractor’s team and guiding them to achieve the planned schedule.
• Ensure site works meet approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Preparation of sequence of works and facilitating coordination among site teams for laying railway tracks and installing transit system components within metro stations and tunnels.
• Addressing construction and equipment installation interface challenges among consortium partners and internal site teams (Civil, MEP, Signalling & Low voltage, Power supply, Platform screen doors, Cable containments, Track-works, Rolling stock, etc.).
• Enforce the observance of the Health and Safety Management Plan.
• Coordination with the design team to solve shop drawings and interface issues.
• Lead Core Team Meetings and release minutes along with Status Report and Recovery Plan.
• Conduct and lead site coordination meetings with consortium partners and release minutes.
• Preparation of look-ahead plans and sequence of works to be followed at the site.
• Draft letters related to delays, obstructions, interface & progress and coordinate the issues with the Contract Manager and Risk Manager.
• Preparation of project reports and presentations for Management and Consultant.
Projects: Multiple projects including infrastructure, building and railway projects.
Responsibilities:
• Management of subcontractors, internal site teams, material and resources.
• Overseeing civil construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Interface management and collaborating with civil engineers, track engineers, MEP, signalling and telecom engineers to coordinate design requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Monitoring construction quality to ensure adherence to design drawings and specifications, conducting inspections, and addressing any deviations promptly.
• Preparation of Site Layout Plan, Method statements and Technical Submittals considering functional and environmental aspects.
• Coordinate and manage the project from concept development to final implementation, ensuring adherence to design drawings, specifications, timeliness, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement sustainability solutions such as solar power arrangements.
• Risk identification and plan risk response.
• Coordination with stakeholders and other contractors of the client.
• Monitoring site teams for timely closeout of NCR and snags.
• Coordination with the Contracts and Procurement Department for timely issuance of required contracts and POs.
• Preparation of presentations and project status reports.
• Manage handover of the project with proper documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Study of tender documents, employer’s requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Preparation of technical proposal.
• Estimation of quantities.
• Preparation of price comparison sheets and rate analysis.
• Assisting the Proposal Manager in the preparation of financial proposals.
• Briefing management about the bid schedule and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Management of real estate and infrastructure activities of two States of India.
• Review and finalize the drawings, layouts, plans & BOQs.
• Estimation of project budget
• Creation of Purchase Requisition and GRN/SRN in SAP (MM Module).
• Preparation of draft Contract Agreement, Letter of Intent, PO & WO.
• Review of variation claims.
Responsibilities:
• Management of Technical Agencies, Technical Executives and Technical Administrators.
• Site inspection, quality check and preparation of progress report.
• Project and property valuation and rate analysis.
• Preparation of technical reports of residential & commercial projects for Construction Funding.
Project: Residential Township Project
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on the residential project site.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and construction team to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress and quality of workmanship.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on the construction site.
• Manage material procurement, inventory, and delivery schedules.
• Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other construction documents.
• Provide progress reports and updates to project stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and as-built drawings.
