Work with the Regional Laboratories to assist in the Training-of-Trainers program for
TB microscopy.
Coordinate in the project zones to ensure that laboratory personnel are trained on the revised TB laboratory standards and support health centers to achieve these standards during supportive supervision visits.
Work with Regional PFSA and RRL’s in TB lab commodities specifications, procurement and inventory management implementation.
Provide supportive supervision and on-site mentorship/coaching of health facility lab staff.
Develop/implement tools for lab reporting as part of lab network strengthening and build capacity of staff at regional labs and below in data management for decision making…etc.
•Managing sales for all AGBL products portfolio in East Africa
•Building and managing a network of sub-distributors and /or sister companies in your territory
•Forecasting sales by products and month and achieving sales targets
• Partner’s performance monitoring including follow up of on partners’ sales target
•Giving training to distribution network in your territory
•Visiting customers and establishing business relationships with customers in your territory
•Planning and executing marketing activities including product campaigns, participation in trade shows and conference s and arranging for workshops
•Back office when administration support when and if needed
•Follow up and managing all tenders process in your territory
•Liaise with all technical and marketing personnel within the company and at principals companies to offer the necessary support distribution partners and customers and fully service their accounts
•Attend and comprehend technical training sessions and be able to provide the necessary technical support and back up to customers
•Manage any service contract bids in your territory
•Manage all data entry tasks related to your accounts in the company CRM

•Support the Regional and Hospital laboratories in quality laboratory management, including, inventory and routine/preventive maintenance of equipment, quality assurance, laboratory processing and maintain documents and records management
•Provide technical assistance and advice on regional laboratory implementation program to RHB /RHL.
•Conduct regional laboratory trainings with RHL/RHB and assist regional training implementation and planning.
•Assess regional and site level laboratory training needs
•Provide on-site laboratory training and mentorship to the regional and site level staff.
•Support regional health laboratory in drafting and homogenizing standard operation procedures and good laboratory practice in all hospital and sub-regional laboratories, and insure that hospital laboratories are strictly following SOPs while making any laboratory procedure.
•Assist the regional laboratory in sample referral services implementation and coordination program.
•Participate in regional laboratory planning to ensure regional needs are met
•Assist the site in routine / preventive maintenance of equipments
•Ensure functionality of hospital ART laboratory sites and report directly to your immediate supervisor if there is any bottle neck problem.
•Conduct an operational research and implement based on the findings
• Selling medical equipment such as PIMA CD4, Chemistry Analyzer, Hematology Analyzer and HIV Test Kits (KHB and STAT-PAK).
• To generate new and repeat business.
• Prospecting new clients and networking throughout the medical equipment industry.
• Call on physicians, Hospital administrations and Clinic directors to promote products.
• Maintain contract with customers, developing technical expertise and sales proficiency, stay informed on new products and technologies.
• Transporting medical equipment safely and sometimes deliver orders.
• Submit regular sales and activity reports.
• The sales equipment specialist may also conduct in-services seminars and demonstration to physicians.
•Supervises the work of laboratory and support personnel in the performance of their duties
•Oversees adherence by laboratory staff to general hospital and laboratory policies
•Implement and monitoring safe working practice
•Holding laboratory clinical meetings with laboratory staffs
•Actively participates in the instruction and clinical supervision of students, in the orientation of new employees, in the staff’s continuing education/ in service program,
•Advises and collaborates with other hospital laboratory section supervisors
•Lecturing students different courses of Medical Laboratory Technology;
•Lecturing Pharmacy and Nursing students of Medical Microbiology;
•Instructing and Mentoring practical parts of the course on the laboratory;

• Responsible for managing the overall activity of the School;
• Prepare and distribute class and examination schedule/assignments for Instructors;
• Evaluation of academic and administrative staffs performance;

• Participate with human resource department in the recruiting of Academic and supportive staff
• Prepares annual budget, strategic plan and three months and annual activity report
