RESPONSIBILITIES
-Managing safety procedures at site as per safety manual.
- Conducting Safety Training/Awareness program as per Training calendar to all categories of site employees.
- Maintaining Forms, Formats, Registers & Safety records.
- Ensure wearing of all workers and staffs like helmets, goggles, life jackets, safety shoes, safety belts, masks, etc
To implement & exercise health & safety requirements and practices into every day's work.
Not to work without Permit To Work (PTW), Daily Safety Training of workers, Holding Safety Meetings with workers, Inspection of Scaffolding, Inspection of tools, Daily risk assessments & inspections, Compiling Weekly and Monthly Safety Report for Senior Management, Plant and equipment inspections, Stock control of PPE, Coordination of all safety, Incident investigation, Non-conformance investigation, Employee evaluations, Construction vehicle inspection and approval, Physical and Administrative Audits, Implementation of safety standards, Client safety liaisons, Facilitation of safe working standards and procedure, Facilitation of risk assessments
Coordination with sub-contractors and implementation of the Health and Safety Programme.
Attending of Health and Safety meetings and coordination with consultant & client.
Deliver safety Induction training and Tool Box Talk.
Monitor and strict compliance of "Permit to Work" system at worksite & explain the importance of the same to the workforce.
Arranging inspection and certification of Equipment's and Tools in the work shop area and cross inspection for the same.
Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly project reports.
Time to time visit of working area to ensure that PPE are provided and properly worn.
Advise work force on safety objective and goals as per safety plan.
Ensure proper safety sign boards are placed in the correct areas to prevent damages/accident.
Monitoring all Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Piping work activities.
Enforce safety rules and regulations.
Removals of unsafe conditions /warn personnel doing unsafe acts violating safety norms.
Preparing incident reports & make recommendations to fix the hazard.
- Ensure all the lifting equipment, tools and tackles are inspected and checked.
- Site inspection & supervision (Safety) of about labors.
- Conducting Safety meeting.
- Preparing Check lists, Accident reports.
- Ensure safe operating instructions are available at working place.
- Ensure availability of First aid kits and Fire extinguishers at all work place.
- Supervising First aid precaution.
- Preparing Sign Boards & Banners regarding safety.
- Conducting Weekly Inspection in Labors camp.
- Responsible to attend the duties of Admin. Officer in his absence.
