• Responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, & troubleshooting of IBM/Toshiba POS machines, Dell desktop/laptop/server running Win XP/7/8/10 in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Installation & Maintenance of around 190 plus IBM/Toshiba POS machines in parlors (northern, southern & western region of KSA) & all department systems in office, including branch offices.
• Installation and maintenance of Biometric devices, CCTV cameras, credit card machines & IP phones with coordination of respective venders.
• Provides technical support by phone, remote screen sharing, and in person when required, to maximize first-call solve rates for local and remote users.
• Configuring, testing & diagnosing switches, routers (wired & wireless) & printer’s (local & network) with network connectivity.
• Configuring & troubleshooting MS outlook base email accounts and ERP user’s accounts.
• Responsible for setup, configuration, testing, upgrades and deployment of Server/desktop/laptop machines running Windows 2003/2008/XP/7 in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Installing, testing & diagnosing network connectivity.
• Installing & configuring Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Routing & Remote services etc.
• Sharing resources, managing user accounts, groups, user profiles, applying group policies, creating home folders & organization units.
• Creating/modifying/deleting user accounts in Linux server so that users can log on from Win XP using putty software.
• Responsible for supporting network and local printers including troubleshooting, and coordinating maintenance with vendors.
• Provides technical support by phone, remote screen sharing, and in person when required, to maximize first-call solve rates for local and remote users.
• Providing internet service (web access) for specific users.
• Installing software’s like C, C++, Oracle, Java, Dot Net, MAT Lab, Auto Cad, etc.
• Hardware upgrades (CPU, motherboards, memory, network interface cards, hard drives & etc.).
• Maintenance of around 400 plus PC’s in college including all department labs, examination branch & administrative office.
• Backup & Restoring of date.
• Installing Anti Virus and updating of patches at regular intervals.
• Making monthly report regarding the status of all PC’s and forwarding to HOD.
• Installing & configuration of Fingertec time attendance and access control systems (Biometric devices).
• Enrollment of users on the device.
• Installation & Configuration of all the features of TCMS software according to client requirements like, clocking schedules, group duty rosters, departments, sections, reports, attendance, and etc.
• Installation of computer and telephone networks.
• Installation & troubleshooting of OS and application software’s.
• Installing & configuring Active Directory, DNS, & DHCP server.
• Creating user accounts, organization units, & their policies.
• Remote support to all clients using team viewer software.
• Preparation of quotation, purchase orders, sales receipt and etc.
• Maintenance of stock & sales record.
