Roles and responsibilities:

•Directs activities of the warehouse personnel to ensure the timely, expedient, and cost-effective shipping and receiving, transporting, loading, sorting and checking of materials and products. Also ensures that plant security is maintained at all times.
•Warehousing and Inventory Control Plans an overall work program for the warehouse, including specific workload schedules of stock sorting, materials handling, loading, unloading, reloading, housekeeping, checking and vehicle maintenance.
•Ensures inventory control through proper warehousing practices, including product count, rotation, and damage control through supervision of good check-in and check-out procedures.
•Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials.
•Maintains an accurate daily and monthly stock inventory.
•Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as supply chain, sales, fleet
•Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
•Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
•Develops and implements and inspection and services program for all vehicles used in warehouse and sales department.
•Ensures that grounds are clean by maintaining proper removal of waste, scrap and surplus materials.
•Recommends equipment requirements for future needs and cost efficiencies.
•Ensures effective cost control by projecting material handling and transportation costs, development of improved materials handling methods, and effective training and utilization of warehouse personnel




Roles and responsibilities:

•Coordinate movement of from the storage areas in the ware house to the point of sales.
• Monitor and assist loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
• Manage product inventory and adjust any entries that may need to be regulate

• Prepare special orders for products not in stock.

•Direct the work of warehouse personnel and oversee all associated activities

• Assume warehouse operations responsibility in the absence of the manager
• Assist in developing policies and procedures to direct the operations of the warehouse.
•Investigate and report warehouse operational discrepancies etc
