Project Implementation
• Promote children's rights, contributing to their well-being and protection in times of emergencies, guided by
humanitarian principles and code of conduct.
• Be prepared to support SCI interventions in response to emergencies and show needed flexibility
Planning and Implementation :
• Assess and analyze the Primary Health Care units’ (PHCUs) needs regarding staff’s technical capacity, medical supplies
and other needs.
• Design the workplan to implement the technical component, including: building the capacity of MOHP officials
according to needs assessment, supportive supervion visits, provision of medical supplies when and where applicaple,
and other related activities.
• Revise and update of the workplan regularly responding to the major changes in the field demands and
dynamics, especially during the panademic, to promote the national response to COVID 19 crisis and maintain the
alligment of SCI activities with national response.
• Review, develop and facilitate capacity building packages, as per SCI and international Guidelines.
• Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to safeguarding, code of conduct, health and safety,
and any other relevant policies and procedures;
• Demonstrate leadership in relation to Save the Children policies and practice with respect to safeguarding, code of
conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
Budgeting
• Deliver a detailed budget forecast for the technical activities (capacity building, procurement, field visits, meetings,
etc...)
• Monitor the monthly spending for the technical activities.
Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with MoHP officials on different levels via meetings (faca to-face or virtual according
to the context) and other communication pathways to enhance and facilitate the cooperation between SCI and MoHP.
• Support the integration of all project activities via updating the project staff members regularly with any modification
of service provision through PHCUs or related services that might affect the beneficiaries especially during the
pandemic response.
• Participate in SCI health committees, meetings and other forms of medical support when requested and approved by
the line manager.
Data management
• Ensure monthly reporting on beneficiaries recieving healthcare services from the supported primary care units
segregated as agreed
• Verify and analyze the PHCUs’ data (when required)
Team leading
• Develop the technical skills of the clinical supervisors and promote thier job-related capacity via coaching and
mentoring.
• Regular reporting to the Senior Technical Officer with monthly field updates.
• Deliver periodical reports addressing the progress of the technical component of the project with analysis and
recommendation as needed.
• Participate in planning and developing future programming initiatives.
• Assess two health facilities’ current measures against COVID-19 transmission and develop assessment tools for IPC,
RCCE, and Triage SOPs
• Identify needed technical, RCCE, and material support needed to improve the facilities’ anti-transmission measures
WORK EXPERIENCE
• In coordination with the health facilities’ managers, review their SOPs for COVID-19 identification, referrals, and
prevention messaging, as well as to ensure they include and provide quality services
• Develop and deliver a list of basic trainings needed for health facilities’ staff related to COVID-19 identification,
prevention, referrals, and messaging.
• Determine how medical/epidemic surveillance is carried out within specific contexts and ensure that international
minimum standards are respected in the facilities,
• Needs assessment reports on both health facilities, outlining current operational procedures, needed interventions
(both
training and material-wise), and implementation timeline for delivery of required assistance
Project Implementation:
Work with the Health Project Manager, Health Project Officer(s), project team members and beneficiaries to:
Conduct field visits to supported Primary Healthcare Units (PHCUs) to monitor the implementation of medical
services in the PHCUs
Ensure that the health service providers are following the MOHP updated guidelines
Provide on-job training and technical support to the health service providers
Co-train the community health workers and other stakeholders on health promotion methodologies and topics
specially; NCDs and First Aid basic messages
Assist and train health service providers in counseling in topics related to PHC especially NCDs
Implement health promotion sessions for refugee communities
Reporting and documentation:
Regular reporting to the Health Project officer with monthly field updates
Recording of daily supervision visits reports, update supervision database
Draft concise, useful and analytical reports, case studies & QBMs
Participate in planning and developing future programming initiatives
Covid-19 Response:
Assessment of PHCUs measures against Covid-19 as for availability of PPE, infection control consumables (IC),
triage & social distancing precautions
Identify PPE & IC needs from the PHCUs and oversee the purchase and distribution process of them
Identify Technical needs and continuously provide any assistance needed in collaboration with MOH as training
specified to Covid-19 like IC measures & PPE usage, Operational & working guidelines in the facility, and
Supervision visits
Co-participated in developing a Technical manual for Covid-19 directed to Healthcare personnel
Prepared & kept updated Covid-19 FAQs to assist in the awareness message to the beneficiaries
Instructed several Covid-19 awareness sessions for staff and partners
Developed & Instructed a ToT training about Covid-19 awareness
Acted as a Staff Health Focal point to follow up, report and provide needed guidance for any suspected or
confirmed Covid-19 cases
- Assisted in the management of orthopedic surgery clinics in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluated patients in orthopedic surgery clinics, emergency rooms, intensive care units, and operating rooms.
- Supervised trainees, medical students, residents, and fellows to help them achieve proficiency in the field.
- A founding member in Ahmose Team (a team following the NGO), where I coordinated a medical
campaign called Pneumonia awareness campaign in Hai El Zabaleen, Manshiet Nasser. I was also the
supervising physician during the visits where we covered all the families living there giving awareness
to them in their homes
- Instructed several First Aid trainings for members of the Ahmose Team and the NGO
- Instructed a First Aid course for fresh students of the faculty of pharmacy - Ain Shams university

- Organized a protocol with the National Egyptian ambulance organization and attended trainings with
