Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide overall project management for the project during the construction and ensure that all work carried out is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the plan as defined by the PMC contract with the Clients policy and strategic goals. Duties include the following:
• Lead the GEIC PMC team of 28 persons (Sr. Engineers, Engineers, Inspectors, Document Controllers & Secretary)
• Proactively communicates project requirements to project team, Contractor, Client and other Stockholders as and when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports necessary for internal and external use. Including:  Project status (daily, weekly, and monthly)  Changes initiated due to Client requests or by Contractor due to site condition/ constructability issues.  Material flow and delivery (daily and long lead items)  HSE status (daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Lead, Plan and Monitor the project with the team to make sure it can be completed on time and come in on budget.
• Verify the project meets quality target according to the planned PQP and client expectations.
• Ensure plan, code and regulations relating to HSE are adhered. Conduct Spot inspection with the HSE team, chair HSE weekly/monthly meetings.
• Identify potential risks and put action plan for issues on site and flow up with the contact to close them on time.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with internal team leads on project resourcing, scheduling, progress, and challenges. Monitor the staff performance and put correction plans to align the team with the project needs.
• Actively and regularly meet with the projects various stakeholders including main contractor (LCQ), sub-contractors, design consultant (ECG), and developer (UDC) to ensure that the project requirements are well communicated.
• Perform continuous risk analysis, implement, evaluate risk response plan and keeping the project risk register up to date.
• Maintain on time delivery of necessary AHJ permits (e.g. MME, KAHRAMA, civil defense, Woqod ...etc).

o Renovations to the former Father Henry Carr Secondary School located at 21 Panorama Court to the new Rexdale Community Hub Building, City of Toronto. The approximate area of building renovation totals 78, 000 sq. ft. on two floors. Work includes exterior site work, interior
o renovations, demolition and construction of interior structure and partitions, mechanical and electrical services to suit, elevator, signage, state of good repair work, millwork, specialties, and interior finishes. The main challenge was the fast-track nature of the project as it was to finish within 5 months. The project was submitted on time.
o E. C. Drury School for the Deaf, Campus Sign Refresh & Building Emergency Plans: Complete Wayfinding package for the 21 buildings and the site.
