Key Result Areas:
•Developing new areas of business by identifying opportunities for enhancing freight & logistics business; conducting rate negotiations with carriers for air, sea and land
•Establishing & maintaining relationship with suppliers to facilitate & promote business, as well as providing support to the sales team and account managers with competitive rates for current, new customers and bids
•Streamlining operations of Distribution Accounts (3PL) in collaboration with Account Managers to ensure timely completion of contractual obligations as agreed with the customer
•Achieving customer satisfaction at all levels of operations, performing process re-engineer to improve teams’ service levels & performance, defining depart- mental & employee goals (KPIs), and so on Coordinating with various departments of the Customs Authorities, and evaluating, validating and executing growth opportunities of new services, products and channels
•Put in place common logistic process, procedures, instructions within the organization for the freight management, warehouse management, compliant supplier management and cost and sell evaluations to ensure highest level of profitability for the organization.
•Analysing & recording service failures and implementing process improvement
•Assist defining of compliance polices and evaluating same in liaison with management team. Ensure all suppliers are audited periodically as per defined service standards.
•Worked as single point of contact to manage any discrepancy of inbound closing import shipment job files for custom clearance and invoicing.
•Liaised & coordinated with clients and provided high-customer care.
•Maintained cordial relations with Agents, Airlines, Shipping Lines for rates and services to various ports / destinations for safe and smooth cargo delivery
