• Participated in technical designs and studies of new dams' projects.
• Conducted regular dam safety inspections for all existing dams in Sudan.
• Prepared regular dam safety technical reports for all existing dams in Sudan.
• Reviewed and audited all technical activities and reports prepared by dams' operators.
• Contributed to the training and development of dam engineers' technical capacities through regular training processes.
• Engaged in coordination with regional and international dam safety institutes, representing the Republic of Sudan in dam safety related events. Additionally, actively participated in the regular review and assessment of dams' operation policies in Sudan, as well as in continuous processes for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
The study period was full of challenges and achievements, during which we delved into various civil engineering specializations, including construction, roads, water supply and sanitation engineering, engineering management, and soil mechanics and foundations. The curriculum offered a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, providing a rich and immersive learning experience.
