• Served as main point of contact for numerous geomarket clients in middle east & asia (MEA) such as Saudi ARAMCO, ADCO, ADMA, ADNOC, Shell Global, Shell-FEAST, Occidental, Conoco-Phillips, PDO, Oman Oil, IOOC, POGC, KOC, MOL, PPL, GSPC, Reliance, etc.
• Involved in method development, design and customized analysis of complex heavy oil fluids related to multiple wells of various fields of Saudi ARAMCO and other clients in Middle East & Asia (MEA).
• Provide technical support and interpretation of reservoir fluids studies to clients.
• Responsible for acquiring, implementing, and completing projects for multiple customers in conjunction with SRL technical helpdesk (In-touch), including full black oil, gas-condensate, and volatile oil PVT studies; as well as flow assurance and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
• Testing of various chemical inhibitors for asphaltene and wax deposition for major operators in the region.
• Close-working relationships with other analysis labs: Sister lab of Schlumberger - MI-SWACO as well as 3rd party labs for Intertek and Geochem for wet chemistry and crude assay analysis requirements for various refinery specifications.
• Co-leader of Flow Assurance SIG (Special Interest Group) in Schlumberger
• Led a team of young enthusiastic technical team of data quality engineers.
• Manage technical and various other training plans for DQE team members
• Documenting and standardizing procedures related to routine and specialized studies so it can be used globally.
• Subject matter expert (SME) and support for PVT and flow assurance measurements data quality and interpretation for global PVT laboratories in Schlumberger (in SLB knowledge share system: InTouch)
• Prepare technical proposals for specialized fluid characterization projects and promote joint research projects with operating companies in the area of fluid characterization
• Member of Internal ISO Audit team.
• Development Team member for the process (sulfur species) analysis calculation procedure through excel template for the trace elements & mercaptan sulfur species present in various kind of hydrocarbon reservoir fluids e.g. dry or wet gas, volatile oils, gas condensates and black oil.
• Conduct Fluid Analysis course of oil and gas condensate for the clients.
• Generate Vx fluids ID (PT Tables) from PVTPRO which is input to Vx Multiphase meter. Closely working with PVTEXPRESS and MULTIPHASE (Vx) groups to achieve good turnaround time for client’s multi-phase operational needs.
• Led a team of experienced technical team of Project Engineers.
• Conduct monthly revenue forecast (MRF) meeting the PE team members for potential completion and invoicing of agreed projects.
• Focus on key performance objectives (KPO) for the team members and devise ways to increase team efficiency.
• Suggest and follow-up new project opportunities and analysis strategies related to EOR, PVT and flow assurance studies. Overall project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring with proper close out.
• Prepare budget costing & Tenders for various projects in Middle East & Asia (MEA).

• Develop strong working relationships with clients on technical troubleshooting.
• Discuss and agree on the scope of work to cover thermodynamic aspects of fluid with the client and develop a strategy for the execution.

• Developed, Synthesized and characterized novel solid proton conductors which are of immense use in various fields like Fuel cells, proton conducting gas sensors, solid state protonic batteries, Electrochromic devices and super capacitors.
• Developed and characterized novel polymer composite membranes with the help of SPEEK polymer and prepared solid proton conductors for medium temperature fuel cells in general and for direct methanol fuel cells in particular. Characterization techniques included FTIR, XRD, SEM and Impedance Spectroscopy (IS) techniques.
• Worked in Research Institute (RI) of the University for Thesis Experiments. Research Institute is equipped with the most sophisticated experimental facilities in the Kingdom and provides competitive environment to perform very efficiently in pressure situations.
• Actively participated in the KACST funded project entitled "Development and characterization of novel composite membranes for direct methanol fuel cells.
• Worked on the KACST funded project entitled "Conversion of waste plastics (PVC/PET) into Fuel oils by co-processing with petroleum residue".
• Actively involved in a book writing project funded by KACST on Industrial Chemistry.
• Also involved in a book writing project on polymer composite membranes for fuel cells. This book will present an overview of the previous and current work going on in this hot area and this will be first comprehensive book on the said topic covering all major findings related to the field.
