*Taking backups (manual & scheduled) for all the UNIX servers.
*Report generation for all below ensuring all schedules are happening and to verify healthy backup environment.
a. Occupancy report - to control highly consumed databased.
b. Tape report - controlling tape media consumption.
c. Exchange backup report - ensuring healthy exchange backups.
d. High Backup consumption report - to control DB.
e. Backup status report - Missed/failed backup ensuring.
f. Health checks report - For issues which are related to tape libraries.
g. LAN free network report - for LAN free network connections.
*Report generation of all backup status on daily basis for all Windows, Unix & Virtual Machines to identify backup failures and fixing.
*Many activities involves like Creating backup schedules, Node registration, data migration, triggering failed/missed backups for servers etc.
*Managing overall Tape Media Management associated.
*Procurement of the LTO tapes.
*Tracking all the media movements using centralized E-TOC global software.
*Arrangement of all the Medias and necessary documentation accordingly.
*Making tape movements between data centers, tape libraries and vaults.
*Decommissioning the outdated technology tapes & damaged medias as per the retention policies.
*Proper hand over of decommissioned tapes to the client.
*Creating baseline inventory (Yearly) and current inventory (Quarterly) for Audit purposes.
*Creating necessary reports as required from the client for audit point of view.
*Maintaining overall inventory of the tapes located in 3 different data centers.
*Complying with proper security environment to safe guard the Medias.
*My role involves interfacing with customers, being a part of compliance audits and to meet deadlines to provide reports and media movements
*Over all coordination with CFO.
*Assisting in all the financial matters of the company.
*Arranging Job Interviews and meetings for the new recruitment.
*Creating the Job Requisition and joining confirmations accordingly.
*Communicating between HR and employee for a smooth on-boarding.
*Arranging for the resources like Laptops, Phones, IDs etc for the employee.
*Maintaining the vacation plans and mediating HR for the VISA issues.
*Maintaining the Assets inventory.
*Handling Salary payment invoices with HR & validating for disputes.
*Validating the Salary invoices for any disputes.
*Assisting to Finance in creating the financial presentations.
*Creating the Purchase Request.
*Following up on the submitted PR’s and PO’s for payment releases.
*Coordinating with vendors from whom the company seeks or taken service.
*. Generating PDF for all customer bills using PreS software.
*. Uploading customer bills and contracts to DMS using in-house developed upload tool.
*. Sending the invoices to relevant customers via email using GROUPMAIL tool.
*. Broadcasting SMS to customers about bill delivery status.
*. Printing the Corporate segment invoices and dispatching.
*. Resolving customer issues using BMC Action Request System and Maximo software.
*. Providing Technical support for OCE printers, IBM printers and KERN folding machines.
*. Proficient includes working in Virtual as well as Hardware machines environment.
*. Performing daily activities using 15 server machines all together.
*. Supervising day to day activities of the team.
