•Prepare daily inspection reports, bringing to attention matter of concern with recommendations for corrective action. Follow up on implementation of recommendations following senior college’s approval.

• Monitors compliance to the Company HSEMS by conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site activities.

• Undertakes weekly safety inspection and prepares a report for submittal and review with the Site Manager.
• Conduct daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily Observation Register of any unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, action/rectify immediately and report incidents to the appropriate level of management.
• Assist the Site Manager, Construction Manager and Construction Supervisor in undertaking risk assessments and identifying safe systems of work to be recorded in safe work method statements
• Develop and deliver internal training courses on health and safety topics to the site team
• Undertake weekly Toolbox meetings and attend sub-contractor Toolbox meetings
• Assist Construction Supervisors in delivering Pre-Task Briefings to the workforce on the control measures identified in risk assessments and the safe system of work to be adhered to
• Develop and deliver the Site Safety Orientation/Induction Training for all workers including Subcontractors and visitors prior to starting work or visiting the site
• Assist the Construction Manager in the development of safety procedures for high-risk activities and assist in briefing of the workforce on their responsibilities under these procedures. Audit against these procedures regularly and report any non-compliance to the Site Manager
• Complete the incident notification and investigations and issue the report to the Site Manager, HSE Coordinator and HSE Manager and Manager-Execution
• Review subcontractor Health & Safety plans
• Involved in several projects at the same time.
• Participate in the evaluation of the HSE personnel mobilized on the projects.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Managers for the implementation of the HSE Management System
• Audit the registers and permit systems maintained for lifting machinery, equipment, lifting accessories, excavations, confined spaces, hot works, Lock-out/Tag-out, etc.
• Advise the Construction Supervisors and Construction Manager relative to the requirements of the Company HSEMS and regulatory compliance.
• Been the focal point for the Client HSE Team.
• Provide weekly input of H&S statistics and data to HSE Manager.
• Exercise professional conducts at all time.
• Assist Management in developing and implementing their HSE plans and advice on operational safety matters related to the works.
• Support Line Personnel to further enhance their HSE knowledge and understanding attained through Company HSE Training Programs.
• Provide the link between respective operational unit and Environment Engineer and Industrial Hygienist.
• Participate in Line meetings and forums as necessary, encouraging personnel to adopt a risk based approach to their daily activities and mitigation practices.
• Give safety presentation with the objective to enhance the Health, safety and Environment awareness of all workers.
• Co-ordinate and conduct inspections of facilities and activities to ensure compliance to safe and good work practices in accordance to statutory requirement of the Factories and Machinery ACT and all safety Procedures.
• Assist in accident investigation, reporting and monitor their follow up in accordance to safety procedures.

• Address Occupational Health and Safety Issues
• Support the Engineering phase by coordinating all identified studies (EIA, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL…)

Promote Project Health and Safety Plan and Project Environmental Plan incorporating Company HSE requirements and all applicable Client rules and regulations.
Stays fully informed on all existing and proposed changes in applicable regulations, and protective equipment requirements.
Monitor HSE orientation and training programs that meet the project needs of employees, subcontractors and visitors.
Monitor the effectiveness of pre-task HSE planning for all activities.
Assist in development of project HSE goals, measure, communicates progress toward those goals, and initiate process improvements.
Conduct and document audits and inspections to monitor the effectiveness of the project HSE plan with recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
Assist in HSE incident/accident investigations to analyze root & direct causes and develop recommendations for corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
Administer and document compliance with the project Substance Abuse Program.

Assist with project safety related documentation to ensure it is maintained and reporting requirements are satisfied in a timely manner.
Assist in the administration of first-aid facilities and develop the emergency action plan.
