As a member of the ICT team the objective of this position was to provide internal customer departments (Procurement and Contracts, Materials, Marketing, Operations, HSE) with the most cost-effective solutions to optimize their business processes. In addition, the position was responsible for capital project management related to internal customer departments. The position was assigned as a PM and L1 SAP support for Supply Chain Departments, Operations Group, Engineering Group as well as the HSE Department.
Business Process Optimization and Automation Initiatives
Business Requirement gathering and Analysis for Internal Customer Departments to ensure the requirements meet the overall business objectives
Level 1 support for key systems (SAP, Documentum, Power BI)
Training documentation and Training of Personnel on solutions implemented and business processes
Designing Dashboards to provide senior Management with the needed analytics for optimizing the existing resources and processes
Project Management for Key projects including development of Method statements with risk assessment and mitigation planning
Project cost budget control and KPI management
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Focal Point for Internal Audit Management
Focal Point for ICT Contract Management involves developing of scope of work, performing technical evaluation as well as coordinating the entire tendering process
Focal Point for Internal Document Management and Business Process design to meet national and internal audit requirements
Major Projects/ Initiatives Handled
S4 Hana Upgrade from ECC to S4 Hana 1610 (MM/SD and WM) included fit gap analysis, testing as well as end user trainings.
WM set-up for the New Warehouse Facility
APM Implementation using Bentley Asset Wise. Involvement was from solution selection to PM activities to testing and Training

Single Handed developed the complete Scope of overall Supply Chain Optimization and Enhancement project including the Process Automation, Standard/Procedural enhancements as well as the Governance and Controls that need to be in place.
o Managing the company’s Freight forwarding contract to ensure complete compliance to terms and conditions agreed in the contract. \no Supervising the Expediting Team to ensure smooth Operations and ensure the end-user requirements are met on time and in full. \no Contributing and Assisting to enhance standards and procedures within procurement \no Constantly reviewing and updating work processes related to Logistics and Expediting \no Monitoring Vendor Delivery Statistics and Reporting the same to Management \no Managing and Co-ordinating of Non- Product Exports \no Managing and Handling of Material discrepancies \no Handling of Material Call-off contracts whilst ensuring full compliance to contractually agreed terms and conditions \no Liaising with finance and ensuring all issues pertaining to ageing invoices have been settled \no Plant Shutdown Material Planning and Execution
o Managing the company’s Freight forwarding contract to ensure complete compliance to terms and conditions agreed in the contract. \no Arranging movement of all bulk and recurring materials requirements on the project. \no Coordinating the effective purchase, call-off, receipt, storage and movement of plant and bulk materials and services to support asset activities. \no Provide energetic support between user groups, third parties, logistics and contractors to ensure that all requirements, both priority and routine are met to defined target dates. \no Review and update of procurement and supply chain procedures whilst on site. \no Plant Shutdown Material Planning and Execution \no Updating vendor database and reporting on progress of expediting ( SAP)
