Quantity Surveyor:
➢ Attending Kick-off Meeting.
➢ Co-ordination with Project Department. Valuing completed work and preparing Interim
Payment Application (IPA) to Client and Consultants.

➢ The preparation of Bills and Schedules of Quantities of materials, labour and services
required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works
➢ Analysis of rates for labor, material & plant (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up
Costing, prizing and analysis of direct & indirect cost of BOQ Items
➢ Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
➢ Preparation of specifications when required so to do.
➢ Perform risk, value management and cost control.
➢ Identify, analyses and develop responses to commercial risks
➢ Assigning the works related to Subcontractor based BOQ and Specification after interviewing
subcontractor by analyzing their prequalification, comparing their quotation etc.
➢ Payment Certification to the Supplier and subcontractor based on Work Done
➢ Preparing Contract, Work order with Suppliers and subcon.
➢ Making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended projects.
➢ Coordinating with all the consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity
surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
➢ Coordinating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to discuss the progress of the project and deadlines.
➢ Preparing BOQ if required.
➢ Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
➢ Visit building sites to monitor progress & Allocating work to subcontractorsEnsuring projects

➢ Reviewing tender Documents
➢ Understanding the scope of work
➢ RF I Preparation to Client
➢ Quantity Takeoff and BOQ preparation
➢ Making RFQ Packages and sending RFQ’s to receive quotation
➢ Reviewing the quotation for Compliance (both Technical and Commercial)
➢ Pricing the BOQ with needed overhead and profit
➢ Preparing Cover letter with Specification, Exclusions, Payment Terms etc.,
➢ Preparing for submission based on the requirement from the Main Contractor/Client,
Receiving PTC, Clarifying PTC
• Procurement:
➢ Sending enquiries
➢ Setting out the budget.
➢ Comparing the vendor prices, each other and along with budget
➢ Negotiation with the Vendor
➢ Preparing Purchase Order
➢ Frequent Follow up.
