 Migration of Old control system to new control system & upgradation of old instrument with new field Instruments.

 Working alongside with PMT, PMC & EPC in implementing MOC & DNs.
 Working on optimizing maintenance activities for refinery & LNG plant to improve reliability of plant.
 Extensive use of CMMS (Maximo) for plant maintenance activities, Procurements & planning.
 Working with process & operation in stabilizing the plant for maximum productivity.

 Understanding customer requirements for ICSS system based on RFQ
 Conceptualizing the system / solution architecture to suit customer requirements
 Estimation of bill of material and preparation of technical proposal
 Discussion of the proposal with customer leading to technical qualification
 Review and optimization of offered solution from technical & commercial perspective
 Discussion / negotiation with vendors / SCM team to estimate / optimize bought outs
 Based on nature of projects, control system and instrumentation (sizing & selection).
 Leading team of Junior proposal engineers for large project requirements in select cases

Alongside O&M of existing GCs also involved in installation & commissioning of WKO facilities (brownfield) in Gathering
centers at Burgan oil field- south East Kuwait
Accountabilities
 Perform and direct pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, performance acceptance test of O&G plant followed by O&M
 Review and update I&C technical documentation/drawings including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), cause and
effect, and control narratives and ILD Drawings
 Serving as a resource to other disciplines in all phases of the capital project effort (e.g., provide consulting, safety system
reviews, equipment strategy development, maintenance reviews, participation in Hazard Operability (HAZOP) reviews, SAT &
FAT reviews).
 Collect data using Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or other available data sources & Integrate
maintenance and process data into holistic understanding of instrument/process control performance
 Conduct criticality assessment and develop equipment strategies/maintenance plans for instrumentations and control
systems taking into consideration Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessment, manufacturer recommendations, Support control
system and Safety Instrumented System (SIS)/ Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) maintenance and test planning.
 Coordination with vendors for SAT/FAT activities for field instruments & control systems like DCS, ESD, FGS & FSP system
 Supervision of Process Instrument (PT, LT, FT, TE & TT), F&G, flammable detectors (UV/IR), toxic gas detectors (H2S),
combustible gas detectors (HC IR), calibration & loop checking, Punch list clearance, system sign off, site modification as
required at site condition with change management.
 Overhauling, calibration, maintaining & troubleshooting process instruments & control systems replacing failed/damaged
equipments instruments to support plant operations
 Execute calibration, troubleshooting, loop checking activities for field instruments, control valves, process switches, ON/OFF
valves, SOVs, & various transmitters
 Extensively worked on AMS system in order to communicate with field instruments for parameterization & configuration
 Maintaining & troubleshooting CMS (condition monitoring system), DCS, ESD & safety PLC systems for plant O&M

 Design and commissioning of Cathodic Protection system for gas pipe lines Natural Gas (NG), LPG, Hydrogen, Nitrogen &
compressed air lines to maintain local compliance wrt to safety of plant and environment.
 Installation of gas leak detection system for NG, LPG, So2 gas skids and pipelines for monitoring.
 Worked as the part of plant shutdown & brownfield project like production plant/line revamping in order to increase the
productivity and quality.

 Replacement of all old instruments with high reliable instruments consists of DPT, Electromagnetic flow meters, Vortex flow
meter, Mass flow meter, Radar level, ultrasonic level Transmitters and PTs.

 Upgraded process automation (Allen Bradley PLCs, Drives Power flex series and Yokogawa DCS centum 3K).
 Spare inventory management for plant operations and develop the system for reordering once spare is consumed

Layout Drawing, Network Configuration Drawing, Tag Nomenclature & Database Sizing Calculation, Hardware Sizing
Bandwidth Calculation, Purchase specifications, vendor approvals, Commissioning and acceptance procedures.
 Configured, installed and customized ABB SCADA Vantage along with modifying Database and utility management in
SCADA Vantage. HMI configuration and client/server installation of SCADA. Developed logics in (FBD) for fetching real-time data for all field parameters, SD and FSD systems, orifice sizing and online
instruments calibrations. out I/O Configuration to fetch real time data, Loop check and communication testing. tuning of process variable through PID Controllers along with integrating filed instruments with RTU through
PROFIBUS protocol. on Third party control system and Monometer system integration through MODBUS with RTU AC800F and Third
Party DCS communication with SCADA server through OPC. Remote technical supports for Onsite and also worked on Communication protocols like MODBUS,
Profibus, HART and FF. out and reviewed of SAT (Site Acceptance Test) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). SCADA, WEB & Application data base Server installation and performed network security implementation using
firewalls with configuring Routers & L-2 Switches.
