* Responsible for Review and Approval of technical & drawing submittals, Request
for information (RFI) of HVAC System, including Plumbing piping systems and Fire
protection.
* Provides technical guidance to contractors and utilizes his subject matter
expertise to ensure that the permanent works are constructed as per the contract
in accordance with applicable codes, standards, approved drawings, and
specifications, budget and schedule.
* Monitors construction contractors' mechanical installation and testing activities,
including but not limited to piping, leak tests, duct work and insulation, pumps,
building management system, HVAC controls, domestic water systems,
foundation de-watering system, etc.
* Assist Contractor with coordination of the MEP process, including the
development of coordinated slab penetration drawings, MEP ceiling and wall
coordination of condensate drain systems, power & control wiring coordination,
fire pump powering and controlling through the Fire Alarm Control Panel Systems,
concrete pad and isolation requirements.
* Witness contractors' quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent
works are constructed according to the applicable codes, standards, and
approved drawings and specifications (i.e., leak detection, equipment start up
and commissioning).

* Reviews tests results generated by the independent test agencies and approved
complying with the specification requirements.
* Reviews contractor-submitted shop and as-built drawings, materials submittals,
tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permits; and coordinates with the
concerned Departments for obtaining their approval and/or their comments.
* Reviews contractors' mechanical quality assurance and quality control programs,
inspection and test plans, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning,
and as-built procedures, for all mechanical systems and comments for transmittal
to the contractors.
* Recommended Spare Parts List, and Operation and Maintenance Manuals and
coordinates with the concerned departments regarding approval of these
documents.
* Organizes, coordinates, and conducts in conjunction with the concerned
Departments/Organizations acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the
completed permanent works, until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off.
* Attends regular scheduled meetings between the Construction team and the
Contractor

• Responsible for regular monitoring, maintaining quality and compliance targets.
Monitoring of products to ensure high standards of quality.
• Ensure that the work is carried out on & off-site inspection in accordance with the
approved Contract documents.
• Identify non-conformances with the project specifications, standards. Verify
implementation of corrective action and prevent use of non-conforming item until
deficiency has been corrected.
• Check all materials and equipment delivered at site in compliance with the
approved material submittals and project specification.
• To Ensure Quality Record / Documents as required by the client are maintained.
• Coordinate with assigned contractors regarding submission of quality test plan,
material approval and method of statement.
• Monitor and ensure that all works are in accordance with client standards and
specification.
• Check that all works, and procedures are according to approved plans (ITP).
• Ensure that all material delivery is stored as per project specification or as
approved equal by client.
• Coordinating with Site management & back-office staff towards timely delivery of
materials on site.
• Supervision of installation of HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting items as per standard
norms.

• Participating in site meetings with Site management, client / consultant.
•Coordination with all other services like Architectural & Electrical etc. towards
successful completion of project.
• Actively participating with third party during Testing and commissioning of
Mechanical system.

• To coordinate with the Mechanical Designer, Supervisors, Foreman and Project
Manager regarding the Site Implementation and Mechanical Material Sample
Submittals
