Heading the Procurement department of KSA-BU with accountability responsible for strategic procurement of goods and services in KSA cluster along with leading threads on NAME level. The following are the main highlights of the position;

•Initiation and leading the procurement function in KSA.
•Developing the organizational structure for the function along with the relevant required tools.
•Leading the procurement projects for KSA with the higher management and functions’ directors.
•The function managed and controlled the spending for both Direct and Indirect Materials.
•Establishing cross company SLAs with different functions and departments.
•Contract Management of Global Agreements and aligning the same within the country.


Along with the Strategic Procurement, Contract Management and Procurement Execution sub-functions, the role consist of leading the following procurement thread;

•Supplier Optimization - NAME Countries.
•Capability Building Program- NAME Countries.
•Cash and Savings Plans - KSA.
•Supplier Certification Program - KSA.

at Commodities & Hedging Program

Lead and co-created the commodities and hedging program for the organization in relation to Steel, Aluminum & Sugar

The overall objective of this project is to design and build a new “Greenfield” beverage manufacturing
facility to replace existing bottling and canning plants located in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was
therefore planned to construct a new “Greenfield” facility located in the Second Industrial City in Jeddah,
where land (~300, 000 sq. m) is available to centralize all of its manufacturing activities in one location.
Pepsi Mega Plant is designed to initially accommodate 12 filling and packaging lines in total and at this
moment in time are being considered as all new lines. The lines will be designed to produce the PepsiCo
range of products and will include CSD’s (Carbonated Soft Drinks), Aquafina water brand and NCB’s
(Non-Carbonated Beverages) including Bario, Gatorade and Tea products. Pepsi Mega plant is constructed
with all the necessary process manufacturing equipment and utility support plant and services to meet the
projected sales volumes (as supplied) and will be procured and installed on an incremental expansion basis
where applicable.

Served as a the Strategic Purchasing & Contract Management functional champion for procurement
sessions in the ERP migration project. This Project was initiated to migrate from the existing ERP software
to a completely new ERP system which shall have full control over a number Enterprise Resources Plans and Divisions.

Yemen.
