The Technical Responsibilities Specifically Include
• Monitoring the clean room supporting systems as well as its atmosphere: temperature, pressure, relative humidity, and air cleanliness;
• Overhauling industrial steam generators;
• Safeguarding acid water neutralization systems(AWN);
• Observing water Distillation and Deionization;
• Upholding toxic Gases cabinets and all valve manifold boxes;
• Support and maintain all air handling units (AHU);
• Refurbishing recirculation air handling units (RAHU);
• Supporting laboratory and troubleshooting equipment problems;
• Investigating equipment failures and malfunctions to diagnose faulty operations and to make recommendations to the maintenance crew;
• Preparing analysis reports, conducting testing, and coordinating projects with technicians;
• Conducting full hazards safety training for technicians against fumes, bases, acids, and personal protective equipment for each job to help improve safety, reliability and throughput;
• Making sure systems are reliable and perform consistently in specified operating environments and recommending modifications following prototype test results that comply with KAUST regulations;
• Coordinating maintenance procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed conditions.
• As a site controller, my task was to manage all construction workforce including other supervisors; my duties also included planning, scheduling, directing work, and training personnel;
• Insured proper equipment and supplies were available in the stockroom to complete various jobs in addition to ordered tools and supplies if necessary;
• Coordinated activities with trade areas, project managers or outside contractors;
• Kept daily records and logs on operating conditions and repaired mechanical equipment.
As for my job at “Zain, it was primarily a GSM networking mission which includes GPS and navigation maintenance, switches decoding, and station centers software installation and repairs.
• Checked air handler units to ensure most efficient operation;
• Monitored construction systems to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications;
• Conducted limited design, plan, and lay out construction, fabrication or assembly jobs, and carried tasks through to completion;
• Located and identified malfunctions or defections in equipment or apparatus and made repairs;
• Planned and supervised the work and instructed subordinate technicians and subordinates.
• Diagnosed line voltage circuits, low voltage circuits, controls, and the refrigerant cycle.
• Worked in AC installation and maintenance with knowledge of using most of the equipment including switches, chillers, exhaust fans and equipment that control the climatic conditions of the buildings such as electric, electronic and direct digital controls.
