I was engaged with PWA Ashghal’s Expressway - P007-C1 Rayyan Road Project, Doha, Qatar (QAR 1.3 billion). Responsibility included to verify inspection request, monitoring day to day activities, prepare weekly/monthly report, issue SOR/NCR, attended 66kV, 11kV, LV cables laying, jointing, testing, 11/0.415 kV S/S’s, Street Lighting, Traffic Signals, ITS, SSD, 1.2km Cable Tunnel with cable ladder and earthing system, Lighting, HVAC system, Fire Aspiration system. Review of contractor submittal regarding material, shop drawing and method statements. Ensuing the electrical activities at site in accordance with project specs, QCS, KM, Ashghal St. Lt, QHDM standards and requirements. Update of risk register and obtaining better KPI. Conduct regular meeting with Contractor regarding HSEQ, RO, authorities NOC, KM SIS, LOA, work progress and resolve issues involved. Coordination with Kahramaa Electricity Authority regarding submittal approvals & shutdown for 66kV, 11kV/LV cables, substations, and associated works. Coordination with design, QA/QC, QS section regarding electrical works.

I was engaged with Ashghal’s Expressway - P021 Al Huwailah link, Qatar (QAR 300 million). Responsibility include supervision of 11kV, LV cables laying, testing and jointing, 5 nos. 11/0.415 kV S/S’s, 11kV OHL to UG cable conversion, Street Lighting high mast / poles and Traffic Signal works. Coordination with Kahramaa regarding the submittal approvals & shutdown for 11kV cables & distribution substations.

Highlights: Played a stellar role in re-designing and monitoring of Infrastructure Electrical Works. Review of project plan and obtaining design approval from authorities i.e. ADDC. Managed review of workshop drawing, materials, procurements schedules, method statements, variations. Handled Supervision of installation, testing & energizing of 11/0.4kV PU S/S, Feeder Pillars, LV & 11kV Cables. Monitored site activities through inspections, weekly/monthly progress, safety reports, NCR and snags. Applied authorities latest site safety updates and notified safety violations. Project Handled: Manazel (Developer) - Al Reef Villas & Downtown Infrastructure (AED 390 million), Abu Dhabi, UAE. Complete re-design of Infrastructure 11kV & L.V Network of 178 MW C.L. (47.71 MVA D.L, 0.24 D.F, 0.9 P.F). Handled installation of 103 Nos. 11/0.4kV PU S/S, 528 Nos. Feeder Pillar’s, 549 St. Lt. Poles, 15 Nos. SLCC. Supervised electrical infrastructure for 2400 Villas, 18 Buildings, DCP, St. Lighting, STP and Ancillary buildings. Managed laying of 42 Km 11kV / FO Cable, 130 Km LV Cable. Testing, Energization & Handing over Process.
